Forever a Safe House

Chapter 1

A/N WELCOME BACK TO THE SECOND BOOK OF The Misfit Series. This is a continuation of the last book A Misfit Safe House. Enjoy!

<Marvel's POV>

We walk into the newly cleaned and decorated house, all twelve of us. Glimmer did a fantastic job on decorating the house. Finnick assigns us our rooms. Glimmer takes my hand and pulls me up to our room. It's a big room with white walls, dark wood floors, and an elegant king size bed with two nightstands and a giant dresser. Through a window I can see a giant barn in the backyard. There is also a bathroom attached with a small shower, sink with storage under it, and of coarse a toilet. Glimmer waits for my beacon of approval.

"Glim, it looks perfect," I say grabbing her hips.

"Marvel, all I want to do is marry you," She says. Her beautiful eyes stare up at me and small blonde strands of hair cover her face. Glimmer really does shine.

"Than what the hell are we waiting for?" I ask looking down at her.

"What do you mean?" Her small voice asks in obvious confusion.

"We should just get married tomorrow. We have everything we need."

"Okay I'll call our family members! I love you!" She goes into kiss me.

"Eh eh eh, I can't kiss you again till we are married," i tusk and put a finger to her pouting lips.

"Fine, I'll go tell everyone." She struts downstairs with her usual glammer walk.

"Oh boys!" I shout. All of the guys heads peek through my doorframe and they speak in unison.

"Yes dearie?"

"Get your suit and tie, you have a wedding to attend to tomorrow."

"But we still have to unpack," Peeta says.

"Ah hell we can finish that later, it's time to get married!" Cato shouts. We shout like little boys and go outside to set up the wedding tents.

<Glimmer's POV>

"Ladies! It's times to get married!" We squeal like little girls. Katniss stands in the corner. Her face went from happy to sad. "Kat what's wrong?"

"The bridesmaid dress isn't going to fit me after my surgery," she says gesturing to her chest.

"Kat that's okay my dress will be a little big to, we had the fitting for the dresses before I lost all the baby weight," Jo offers. We all say encouragements.

"It's okay, now let's go make the designs and call the relatives."

The next day.

My hair is done, all of our dresses are on, all the guests are here. It's time to get married. (Pictures of venue and hair and dress at top)

I will be walking down the isle by myself since my dad passed away when I was 5. I think of him today, how he would have loved to walk me down the isle.

"We're ready," Clove says. My bridesmaids and their partners team up and line up. Sam leads the line and will be my flower boy. We had to tell him over and over not to eat the rose petals.

The music starts and we start moving forward. Before I know it the music for me is on and everyone stands and turns their heads, itching to get a glimpse of me. I look past them and up at Marvel. The man I want to spend the rest of my life with. He smiles at me and I smile back at him. I make it up to him and we hold hands.

The wedding minister but I don't here him until he says,"You may kiss the bride." I lean in and kiss Marvel. We kiss short but passionately. I am finally arrived to the man I love. We lead the guests into the barn that we decorated into a rustic wedding paradise.(pictures at top) I realize I am still holding Marvels hand and smile. All the guests sit and we do happy hour then speeches. A very drunk Cato stumbles on the platform first. I sigh. He is beyond drunk. Finnick actually brings him up so he doesn't fall.

"Alrighty folks, so first I would like to say congratulations to the married couple. Now if you have sex and get pregnant it won't be a problem which is great cause your sex is hot! Anyway congratulations I love you Marvel, I love you Glimmer, and I'm sending live to my mom, my daddy, and Peeta oh Peeta I love you the most I think, you cute little blondie, God your adorable oh and Glimmers mom, cudos to you, oh and-"

Finnick runs next to Cato and brings him off the platform. "I think that's enough," he says smirking.

"Are you bringing me to Peeta, I love Peeta, he funny," Cato mumbles. I laugh into Marvels shoulder as our other friends make speeches but the best speech has to be from Sam.

He waddled his way on the platform and knocked the mike over and said, "My mommy said you cute so happy togetherness." Then he wobbled off the platform after mumbling those barely audible words. We are definitely a close knit family and I love all of them.
