Chapter 5

Lexa POV

It was the next day. Lexa just woke up and was getting ready. Lexa put her coat on and her armour. She put her knives in their places and food was brought in. She ate and then walked out.

Lexa walked into the meeting room and saw a few people already in there. "Heda." Everyone said, nodding.

Lexa nodded and took her place. The rest of the people walked in and the meeting started. They started with the Mountain.

"Villages around here have been losing people to the mountain more and more." A man said. "People of Trikru are getting worried."

They talked about the mountain and other things before the meeting ended. They left the meeting.
Lexa walked where Anya stayed and knocked. There was no answer. Lexa walked in and didn't see Anya. She left and saw Indra walking by.

"Indra." Lexa said. "Have you seen Anya?"

"She is training the girl." Indra said.

"Who?"

"The skygirl." Lexa nodded and walked off to the training grounds.

She got to the training grounds and saw Anya teaching a blonde girl how to throw a punch. The girl threw a messy punch and it connected with Anya's nose. Lexa laughed softly. Anya sighed and then got the girl into postion again and showed the girl the correct way to throw a punch.

Lexa watched for a few minutes. The girl was picking the basics up quickly, even though it still looked a little awkward. Lexa walked off and went back to her tent.

It was about midday when Lexa saw Anya and the girl finishing up. They both were sweaty. Anya and the girl split up. Lexa went over to Anya.

"You are training her?" Lexa asked.

"She can be useful." Anya said, walking to where she stays.

"Tell me what she knows."

"Ever since you got lost in her eyes yesterday, you've been interested." Anya said. "You watched us train."

"If you are keeping her around, might as well use the information she knows." They walked into Anya's place and sat down at a table.

"She has more people in space. They are on a ship called the Ark. She got sent down here because she was gonna get executed and she got sent down here to live. The oxygen is failing on the Ark, I don't really understand that but like to have oxygen makers up there."

"So a scout?"

"No, they would have sent someone better down. Her parents are one of the leaders and the most respected people on the Ark. Her mom is the best doctor and her dad is one of the main people that make sure the Ark is working correctly." Anya said. "They wouldn't have sent the princess down if they were sending scouts."

"So, why are you training her?"

"Because her people use the same weapons as Mount Weather. She doesn't hate us so she thinks that if she can talk to her parents and get them on board, she thinks that her people will follow her parents. From what she told me, her parents had more influence than the Chancollor." Anya said. "And if I keep training her, she is gonna be a damn good warrior."

"I know, she punched you in the nose."

"I was looking at you and not her." Anya told her. "She is picking up everything quickly, she knows a lot of Trig already for just one day."

"She is your responsibility." Lexa said.

"You are acting like I'm adopting her."

"You know what I mean." Lexa said.
