Lexa POV
It was about an hour and a half left until sundown. Everyone was getting ready for the Ark to come down. Lexa, Anya and Clarke plus a few other's were getting ready to go to the drop ship.
Lexa was in her tent. She put her coat on and her armour on. Lexa was putting her warpaint on when her tent flap opened. "Anya says you are taking too long." Clarke said.
"Anya can wait a few more minutes." Lexa said, working on her warpaint. Clarke laughed softly. Lexa looked up at Clarke. She had her wapaint on with her armour. "One of these days we can go to Polis and get you fitted for your armour."
"Are you asking me on a date, Commander?"
"Uh no. Yes, I mean I don't know, no yeah I mean no." Lexa said. Clarke looked amused. "You are messing with me." Clarke laughed and nodded. Lexa groaned and then went back to her warpaint.
"Have I ever told you that you look like a raccoon with your warpaint on?"
"I am supposed to look scary and ruthless."
"But you do look like a raccoon." Clarke said.
"But raccoons are cute and I am not supposed to look cute." Clarke laughed.
Lexa finished with her warpaint and they walked out. They walked over to Anya and the other warriors. "Ready you two?" Anya asked.
"Yeah." They both said.
"Need help Princess?" Lexa asked as Clarke walked over to her horse. Lexa held out a hand for Clarke. Clarke took her hand and got up on a horse.
"Just so you know, I can get up by myself." Clarke said.
"Sure you can."
"Just get on your own horse." Lexa laughed and did so. They started to ride to the dropship.
"So I want to just talk about someone that has been pissing me off." Anya said. "Lexa, can you kick Titus off the tower. Like I will pay you as much money as you want."
"Well, he is the only flamekeeper." Lexa said. "So I can't do anything about it until he trains the next one."
"But what if I just like pretend I'm practicing my knife skills and miss and hit Titus?"
"Still we don't have another flamekeeper."
"So order him to train another flamekeeper." Anya said.
"I will when I get back to Polis."
"Only took you about a hundred years."
"As annoying as he is, he has served the three past Commander."
"He has a walking headache." Anya said.
"He can't be that bad." Clarke said.
"Okay, so just a picture, a nice summer day. Like perfect. And then a huge fucking awful storm comes and fucks up that day. But when it's gone, everything is back to that perfect summer day." Anya said.
"I've never felt summer."
"Then just like a perfect day." Anya said. "I forget that you lived in space your whole life. Anyway, summer is amazing. But you have to make it through winter and spring. Spring just rains a lot and is warmer. Winter is like freeze your tits off cold."
"Oh." Clarke said.
"Winter isn't that bad. It just depends where you are." Lexa said. "Like Azgeda gets super cold. Trikru isn't the worst but it isn't the best. The clans that are farther out are warmer. Floukru gets pretty cold too. I just hate the cold."
