Chapter 18

Clarke POV

About a week has passed. They all decided it was best to go back to Arkadia to get closer to the Mountain as now they had more infomation and some sort of a plan. It was very early in the morning and everyone was getting packed and ready. Clarke and Lexa were in Lexa's room as Clarke basically moved into Lexa's room.

Clarke had just gotten out of the shower and had got dressed. She walked out of the bathroom and saw Lexa putting her armour on. Clarke walked up behind Lexa and hugged her from behind. Lexa turned her head and kissed her.

"You don't seem very excited." Lexa said as Clarke put her head in her neck.

"Well it is like four in the morning and I have to sit on a horse for hours." Clarke mumbled.

"Good news, we should make it to Arkadia tonight." Lexa said. "We will have to ride into the night a little but we should be fine."

"So I don't have to sleep in a cave on the ground?" Clarke asked, as Lexa turned around and wrapped her arms around her.

"No." Lexa laughed softly.

"Yay." Clarke said into Lexa's neck. Lexa rubbed Clarke's back and kissed her temple. "Hm, I just want to sleep."

"You'll wake up once we get going."

"I don't know about that one." Lexa laughed and pulled away. Clarke kissed Lexa and then they finished getting ready. They walked out of the tower and met up with the rest of the group. Clarke saw Raven basically asleep on Luna. Octavia, Lincoln and Kane were on their horses talking. Anya was walking another horse up.

Once everyone was ready, they got up on their horses and started to ride. The ride was silent due to the early morning. Clarke was trying not to fall asleep on her horse. Raven suddenly woke up and was telling awful jokes again. Lincoln and Kane were talking. Anya and Luna were annoying each other. Octavia was trying to get Raven to shup up. Lexa was riding right next to her.

"This is choatic." Clarke said.

"You are acting surprised." Lexa said. "You expected this to be a normal ride?"

"No but I didn't think it would start this early." Lexa laughed.

"What do you call a lesbain with long nails?" Raven asked. "Single." Octavia groaned as Luna brusted out laughing. Anya face palmed.

"I hate it here." Octavia said and they all laughed. "How do you come up with these?"

"I don't know, they just come to me." Raven said.

"Next time we are going somewhere we are not going with them." Clarke said.

"Can I come with you?" Octavia asked.

"No only Kane can, maybe Lincoln." Clarke said.

"I agree with that." Lincoln said.

They took breaks along the trip and they arrived at Arkadia very late at night. They just rode out of the woods. "Guys, I only know twenty five letters of the alphabet." Raven said. "I don't know 'Y'." Raven said. Everyone groaned as Raven laughed.

"I can't do this anymore!" Octavia said. "I'm throwing myself of a fucking cliff!" They rode into Arkadia and the guards that were riding behind them at a far distance took their horses, once they got off. "I'm telling Abby about all the fucking illegal jokes you made on this trip!" Octavia marched off. "And then maybe you'll fucking learn!"

"All I said was, what did the penis say to the condom? Cover me, I'm going in." Raven said.

"Kane probably hates his life." Anya said.

"Next time, bring Jake with you." Kane said. Everyone started to laugh.

It was probably midnight when the guards started to set up tents. Everyone was sitting around the fire, leaning on logs, eating a very late dinner. Clarke had her eyes closed, her head on Lexa and her arms loosley around her. Lexa had her an arm around her back, playing with her hair. Clarke felt herself started to drift off when she heard footsteps.

She looked up and behind her. Her mom was walking over and Clarke pulled her arms off Lexa and Lexa moved to put some space between them. "What's wrong with you two?" Luna asked.

"Clarke's mom is coming and still has mixed feelings about me. If she sees us this close, she might think something is going on and kill me." Lexa said. Everyone laughed.

"Final found someone who Lexa is scared off." Anya said.

"I'm not scared." Lexa said. "I just don't want to get murdered." Clarke laughed as her mom walked up.

"I take it the ride went well?" Her mom asked. "Raven kept everyone entertained?" Clarke looked over at Raven who was passed out, laying her head in Luna's lap. Luna was running her finger through Raven's hair.

"Something like that." Octavia mumbled.

"Anyway, I'm guess everyone is sleeping in tens but if you get cold, there are extra beds in Arkadia." Her mom said. "We can talk in the morning more." Everyone nodded. "Clarke go to bed."

"Mom." Clarke groaned. "I will, but you should go to bed too."

"I am after this, but you really need to, I don't know what time you went to bed at Polis." Her mom said.

"I'll make sure she goes to bed very soon, Dr. Griffin." Lexa said.

"Thank you Commander." Her mom said and then walked away.

"Speaking of bed, I should get this one to bed." Luna said, picking up Raven. "Goodnight assholes."

"Bitch." Anya said.

"Shithead." Luna said and then walked away.

"My turn." Octavia said, putting her arms around Lincoln. Lincoln laughed and then picked up Octavia, carrying her to a tent. Clarke cuddled into Lexa and put her arms back around Lexa.

"So, how's the relationship." Anya said, smirking.

"Perfect." Lexa said, looking at Clarke. Clarke picked her head up and kissed Lexa. "And you should go to bed." Lexa kissed Clarke's head.

"I don't like when you and my mom team up." Clarke said.

"I'm gonna go before I throw up." Anya said, getting up and leaving. They both laughed.

"Do I get to sleep in the Commander tent?" Clarke asked, as Lexa picked up Clarke.

"What's wrong with your tent?" Lexa asked.

"You aren't in it."

"Smooth Princess." Lexa said, walking towards a big tent. Clarke put her arms around Lexa's neck and buried her head in Lexa's neck.

They entered Lexa's tent and Lexa placed her on the bed. Clarke sat up, took off her armour and kicked off her shoes before getting under the covers. Lexa laughed and did the same. Lexa joined Clarke in the bed and they cuddled into each other.

"Reshop Heda."

"Goodnight Princess." Lexa said, kissing Clarke's head. They both feel asleep not much later.
