I sat alone in Camerons room, wondering what to do. I don't know anybody here instead of Cameron and Nash, but they're both out. "Hey." a voice says softly in my ears and I felt strong arms wrap around me. Is Nash back? I smiled and turned around, seeing the person I didn't expect. "Cameron?" I asked.
"hey." he said and kissed my cheek. "why are you back so early?" I asked, avoiding what he just did. "Well, I just wanted to see if you changed your mind and wanted to come." he answers, sitting close to me.
I think for a few seconds before answering. "okay, but I'll be a few minutes." I answer. He knods and starts to walk out. "oh by the way, we're going to the beach. Do you have any bathing suites?" he asks. Sadly I don't. "shit, I dont!" I say and sit down. "dont worry, I'll buy you one at the store, it's on the way." he offers. "cameron, you don't have to." I say, not wanting him to waste his money on me.
"It's okay, I want to. Now get ready." he tells me. "thanks Cam." I say then he knods and shuts the door. I quickly pick out an outfit which I actually liked. Light blue denim jeans, an american flag shirt and white strap on sandles. After getting dressed, I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth.
I went back into my room and brushed my hair, which didn't take too long. When I was done with that, I sprayed a little perfume on myself, grabbed my bag and walked downstairs. I reached downstairs and saw Cameron sitting on the couch on his phone.
"I'm ready." I say and he looks up. He looks at me for a few seconds and smiles. "okay, let's go then." he says while grabbing his keys and motioning me to go to his car. He followed behind me as I was walking. I opened the door and got in, while Cameron did the same. He put the key in the ignition and started driving.
"Hey, so who's going to be there?" I ask as I play with my hair. "well, there's going to be Jack J, Jack G, Kian, Jc, Matthew, Trevor and Shawn." he says while keeping his eyes on the road. "wow, a lot of people." I say and get nervous. What if they don't like me? What if they think I'm weird, annoying, dumb? I bite my lip. "dont worry, they'll like you." He tells me like he could read my mind. He smiles at me then faces forward.
"How did you know I was nervous about that?" I ask in curiosity. "well, I know i've only known you for a few days, but I could tell when your nervous. For example, you bite your lip." he answers. Damn, he noticed that!
"oh." i say and look away. "dont worry, I think it's cute." he tells me and parks. I blush and get out the car. "okay, we are not buying a slutty bathing suit, I don't want then to stare at you, okay?" he demands more than asks. "yes dad." I say and laugh. We walk into the store and look for a bathing suit. He kept searching for one pieces, but I'm not wearing a one piece. I looked in the two piece section and saw one that caught my eye. It was a nice simple black bikini that I really liked.
I went over to Cameron and showed it to him. "I said a one piece." he says while looking at me. "come on cam, I really like this one, and I ain't wearing no one piece." I say and he chuckles. "fine, if you really want it then sure." he says and grabs it. I smile and say "thank you, and I'll pay you back once I get a job." I say. "No it's fine, I got it." he tells me. I smile and say "Thank You." he pays for it and we walk to his car. When we get in the car, he turns on the radio and the song voodoo doll by 5 seconds of summer comes on. "oh my god I love this song!" I exclaim. He laughs and turns it up. "Tell me where you're hiding your voodoo doll cause I can't control myself!" I sing my heart out. Cameron just looks at me and laughs playfully. After the song was over, we were at the beach. I have to admit, this beach looks fun. I got out the car and helped Cameron with the towels. We walked to the beach and saw the boys. "They're going to like you." he whispers, noticing that I bit my lip. "I hope so." I whisper back. We reach the boys, and they are sitting on the towels. "hey Cameron." they all say. I set my towel down and ask Cameron where I could change into my bathing suite. "The bathrooms right there." he says pointing to the left. I walk over to the bathroom and start changing.
~Camerons POV~
When Emma left, all the boys were looking at me weirdly. "what?" I ask not knowing why they are looking at me like that. "That girl is hot." shawn said. I smiled and said "don't get any ideas." he laughed and said "why, are you to dating?" "no, well I like her but nash asked her out before I did. She's just my roommate." I explain.
"why would he do that if you like her, he's your friend." Matthew asks me. "well, Nash doesn't know I like her and she kissed him." I say and kinda feel mad just saying that. "sorry man" he says and stands up. "I'm fine." I lie. "lets just have fun" I say and smile.
They all get up and Emma walks over. "Oh by the way, her name is Emma." I say to the as Emma comes next to me. On man, they were all looking at her, I knew it. Ahawn pushes me out of the way. "Hey Emma, I'm shawn. It's a pleasure to meet you." he says and shakes her hand. "hey Shawn, nice to meet you." she looks at his abs for a second then quickly looks away.
I clear my throat and say "Shawn" he moves out of the way. "okay, let me introduce you to the boys." I say. After I do that we all go to swim, except for Emma. She said she wanted a tan. "okay, well the drinks are over here, and the foods in there" I say and we all run to the beach.
~Shawns POV~
I wanted Emma, she was perfect. She's beautiful, sweet, cool, and also dating Nash. Even if they break up, Cameron likes her and I can't do that. I looked over to Emma and saw her lying down on her towel. I mean, just because she has a boyfriend, doesn't mean I can't talk to her. I sneaked away from the boys and walked over to the towels.
I sat next to her and grabbed a Sprite from the cooler. "Hey, pass me a coke." she says and sits up. I hand it to her and she drinks it. "so, how long have you been in LA?" I ask her. "for a few days." she answers. "okay, well I heard you're dating Nash." I say. "Well not yet, we're going on our first date on Friday." she tells me.
I really want her to be mine. "okay." I simply say. "what about you? Are you dating anyone?" she asks me. I smile and say "nope, I'm a free man." she laughs, I love her laugh. We just sit there in silence before Gilinsky comes. "sorry." he says to Emma. "about what?" he quickly pics her up and runs to the ocean. He throws her in the ocean and Cameron catches her. I was behind them. "oh my god! It's so cold!" she says and shivers. "sorry, Cameron told me to." he says and laughs.
"Okay, I'm getting out this is to cold." she says and tries to get out. Cameron holds her and says "come on, I didn't invite you so you could get a tan." she turns around. "but I'm freezing!" she says and chatters her teeth. She is to cute.
~Emmas POV~
Cameron grabs me tighter by my waist and doesn't let me go. "you are not getting out." he says. I feel safe in his arms. "fine" I say. He lets go and I put my head under the water. When I come back up, I see Shawn standind in front of me. "do you wanna play chicken?" he asks. I knod in response.
"Okay, Trevor goes on my shoulders and Emma goes on Shawn's." cameron says. We get in our positions and I get ready. "oh you're going down Emma." Trevor says. I get my hands ready and wait for Kian to say go. "1, 2, 3....Go!" he shouts. We fight a few minutes, until he pushes my back.
Jack J was right behind me, so when I fell, he caught me. I landed in his arm in bridal styles. "Thank you" I say and he lets me down. "no problem." we all splash at each other and have fun for a while. When it was time to leave, I put my clothes on and grabbed my things. I fell asleep on the car ride home. Today was so much fun, I can't wait to explore Los Angeles.
