Chapter I: The Cursed Ebony-Haired Princess

Good morning, good afternoon and good night to each and everyone of you!! My name is Aerin Kallista C. Villavicencio or Aika for short dahil kahit limang letra lang ang una kong pangalan ay nahahabaan pa rin ako and I am the most stunningly gorgeous creature that ever existed in this world!!

PS. Ang tumutol, hindi na mag-kakaroon ng prince charming!

Some of you might get confused about my nickname but no worries because I'm here to explain, Aerin is my first name while Kallista is my second name. Ang ugly naman tingnan at pakinggan kung "Aeka" as in "E-ka" ang tawag sa magandang nilalang na katulad ko right?

So my beloved queen mother decided to call me "Aika" instead para mas magandang tingnan at pakinggan!!

I'm sixteen years old, and I just finished another school year. It's summer vacation but as usual, I'm always stuck at home with my pets, lumaki ako sa puder ni Lola Andreanna. Siya ang Mama ni Mommy. She's nice, caring and I love her so much kahit strikta talaga siya sa halos lahat ng bagay.

I have no idea why she still chose to took me in despite the fact that she and my Dad had an argument before. Wala rin akong idea kung tungkol saan iyon dahil hindi ko naman narinig ang usapan nila, basta pag-gising ko ay naka-impake na ang gamit ni Dad then he immediately left without saying goodbye to me.

It's been a while since my Mom left me too, she died six years ago and like what my Dad did? She never bid her farewell too. She was one of the victims who passed away when the ES Airways Flight 022 had a problem, it crashed somewhere in the middle of nowhere.

From what I heard, she was supposed to follow Dad on Singapore because he said that he had an emergency business meeting but that was a lie and unfortunately? He's too unfortunate because Mommy found out that he was just spending time with his other woman.

Futhermore, I don't wanna talk about it. That story is a tale as old as time but I wonder why I never got a chance to forget about it, I badly want to do that but each time that I will see something that reminds me of what happened then every single painful memory of that day will come back to me all at once.

Fourth year high school or Grade 10 na ako sa susunod na pasukan, magiging stressful siguro ang taon na ito dahil mag-tatapos na ako sa Junior High School. Sana nga ay dito na natatapos ang pag-hihirap ko sa pag-aaral but unfortunately? I'm also unfortunate, dito pa lang nag-sisimula ang pag-durusa ko but I know that it'll be worth it in the end.

A lot of things changed but not the fact that I'm a Princess!

No bad vibes allowed dito sa mansyon kaya dapat palaging happy lang. I mean, pwede namang maging malungkot kahit minsan pero huwag mong araw-arawin kase hindi 'yan vitamins. Nakaka-overdose ang sobrang pag-inom ng bitamina, ganon din ang lungkot sa sistema natin.

Kapag palagi kang malungkot, masasanay ka na tapos hindi mo na mamamalayan na nakalimutan mo na kung papaano sumaya ulit at sigurado akong mahihirapan kang humanap ng paraan kung papaano mo ibabalik ang nawala mong kasiyahan.

Sometimes, I may be alone in this huge mansion but I'm still glad because I have a shelter that protects me from bad people and unwanted accidents. This place is my home, Lola and I are the only ones who can enter in this house because I hate it when a random stranger would just simply barged in!
