Chapter XVIII: Lovestruck In Las Espadas

I kept on running and running, akala ko ay hindi na ako susundan ni Rico pati ng mga kaibigan niya pero nag-kakamali nanaman ako tungkol sa bagay na iyon. They were still chasing me and honestly, I'm starting to get a bit tired now. Damn it, please not now! I have to keep going!

I badly want to cry my eyes out because I feel so exhausted and super helpless but I don't know what else to do except for running away like what I did when I met Charles at Las Espadas Circle, I'm not Cinderella but I'm still running away from these assholes. I can't just simply fight them off, masyado silang marami and mag-isa lang ako!

I want to call Coreen or Zoelle to call for help but how can I possibly do that? I kept my phone inside my bag, I never checked it again after I saw Paco's text messages for me. I hid it inside my bag because it doesn't really fit inside my pockets and I need to make sure na hindi iyon mawawala dahil mapapagalitan ako ni Lola Andreanna.

Hindi naman mumurahin ang cellphone ko, talagang magagalit siya sa'kin kapag nawala ko iyon. I mean, not literal na galit but she'll be disappointed without a doubt.

Iisipin niya na nag-papabaya ako porque hindi naman ako ang bumibili, I often take care of my things and everything that I own kahit mura lang 'yon or mamahalin so kapag nasira o nawala ko ang cellphone ko then I'm done for it.

Right now, I have nowhere else to go but I just kept on running away then something unexpected happened and it seems like my luck had just run out too. Unfortunately, I run into a dead end and that's the reason why they managed to cornered me. What am I supposed to do now?!

I hate Paco but I need him now! Where is he?!

He told me that he's here and he's gonna stay with me because he's gonna protect me and take care of but wow, he's nowhere near me right now. Kung kailan mo siya kailangan, doon naman siya biglang naging missing in action!!

"Get her! Make her pay for what she did!". Rico commanded his pet dogs to go ahead and chew my whole body off.

I can still step back so that's what I did, I was looking for my pepper spray but I can't find it anywhere. Well, the good news is I didn't lost it but the bad news is I left it inside my bedroom when I badly needed it the most.

They were about to do something bad to me but then, somebody arrived and all of them immediately felt terrified. Hindi ko rin alam kung sino iyon kaya naupo na lang ako sa isang tabi, I curled up, hugged my feet and tried to hid myself as possible. I'm just scared, I thought that my first of school will end in a good way but it obviously didn't!

"Who the fuck you a permission to hurt her?". Someone asked in a serious tone.

"Gago! Sino ka ba? Huwag ka ngang mangialam!". Rico yelled.

"Me? I'm just someone who hates trash like you, get out of here and run as fast as you could if you still love your life". Someone replied coldly again. I can't tell who he is, but kung anuman ang ginagawa niya? He should keep that up and scare those dogs away para makaalis na rin ako.

"Dude, kunin mo na si Aika! Kami na ang bahala sa mga pasaway na 'to!!". Another random guy spoke. Pamilyar ang boses niya sa'kin, wait? Have we met before? Parang Oo ata!
