skipping school?

i woke up marinette was peacefully sleeping. i checked the time, 9am friday morning. NINE AM? WERE LATE! screw it. me and m'lady can have a day off, we truly deserve it. i need to spend time with her, i've not seen her in days. i cuddled in tighter, she woke up and squeezed me tighter.. i woke her up.

"sorry if i woke you up" i chucked

"no no it's fine, what time is it?"

"9, were skipping today. we need to catch up, how about lunch in that cafe down the road? i'll head home round dinner" i said

i felt adriens arms squeeze around me, i felt my heart race as i opened my eyes and squeezed him back. i felt so so so happy and safe, i don't have a care in the word. chloe and lila could walk into my room and i wouldn't care. wait HAVE I SLEPT IN? no phew.

"oh, oh, oh alright.. so lunch at the cafe. do i dress up?"

adrien laughed

"i'm being serious we've not went for food with eachother since.. i dont know" i smiled

"lunch date then?" adrien laughed

i nodded. an hour later i finally got myself out of bed, i wanted to dress up.. i don't know when the next time i could dress up would be. i grabbed a pair of jeans and a white tight top with a denim jacket to match my top. i went into the bathroom to get changed, i brushed my teeth and put on natural make up. foundation, concealer, bronzer, mascara, lipgloss and highlight. i noticed we wouldn't be leaving for another hour, do i really take that long to be ready? i walked out of my bathroom and sat on my bed, what do i do with my hair? YES CURL IT! i grabbed my curlers out my drawer and plugged them in, i sectioned my hair and curled bit my bit then brushed them out to get that beach wave look.

"you look cute" adrien said

"well i did put in an effort" i laughed

i decided to transform and head home, i jumped through my window quietly so no one could hear, the security never noticed, how stupid are they? i just got my trackies and a hoodie, i don't really want to dress up. i know marinettes dressing up but i'm not really wanting too but my princess looks cute and dosnt need to dress up. i transformed and snuck out again, seriously how don't they realise? i got back into marinettes room to notice she's not even ready, how long does it take her to get dressed? must just be a female thing, before mother died she took for ages getting ready, speaking of it nathalie does too. i watched her come out the bathroom, she's a literal goddess! she's so pretty, i was staring at her. she just laughed at me and got a stick out her drawer.. ohh it's a hair curler makes sense.

"your cute" i said

"cause i put in an effort"

"well i didnt" i sighed

"hey you look as handsome as always" she giggled

yeah i know she was just saying that.
