Melody's POV
Seeing the human's and dragon's awe of Heartstone Trollmarket reminds me of my first time seeing it when Kanjigar brought me here all those years ago. I smile as the two humans look in awe at my home.
"I need to properly introduce myself to you guys, now that my true self is revealed. *clears my throat* I am Melody Oceansong, Trollhunter of Midday Sky and resident Dragon Human Hybrid of Trollmarket." I say as I dip my head to them with a smile. They nod as they continue to look over my home, their eyes growing wider at every sight.
"This is..." Toby says, trailing off at a loss for words.
"Yeah." Jim agrees, nodding slightly.
"Whoa..." Toby says, still in awe of the trolls' home.
"Pretty much. *to Blinky and I* this is your home?" Jim says and I smile, as I look at Trollmarket her home.
"Trollmarket is a home, hearth, and sanctuary for all good trolls and sometimes dragons come here to trade with them. As one of the Trollhunters is my duty to help make sure all good trolls know that they have a place here, away from the dangers of bad trolls." I explains to them, as we walk.
"Dang! And here I thought the only thing underneath our town was dirty plumbing." Toby comments.
"Stay close. Human feet have never graced the ground of Trollmarket before." Blinky warns the two male humans.
"Humans?!" one big troll asked, frightened.
"Friends." Arrrgh corrects, before growling as he blocks the troll's line of sight to the two young humans.
"This is crazy! Are you getting this Tobes?" Jim says, in awe.
"Oh yeah, on it!" Toby says, as he starts to take some photos of Trollmarket. I roll my eyes with a small smile, knowing they were just excited. He then noticed a rock with different crystals around it.
"Check it out! Peridot, Topaz, Cassiterite! Corneroupi..." Toby says, as he starts pointing at crystals, before he could finish his sentence, Toby realized the rock he was admiring was actually a troll.
"Uh, hi.", Toby says, nervously.
"Your knowledge of minerals is almost Troll-like, Tobias!" Blinky says, amazed. Jim then walked up to me.
"So, these trolls? You all live here, including Dragons and Dragon Hybrids like you?" Jim asks me, curious.
"Yes, the Trolls do, but I am a special case. I was raised by a Troll after...Bular took my parents when I was young. Kanjigar found me, brought me here and gave me to my guardian. Most Dragon hybrids live in the environment their parents did, for example, the Forest Dragon hybrids live in hiding in the woods, the Water Dragon Hybrids, I'm one third water Dragon you can tell by the sea blue and foam white scales, my fan-like ears and the slight webbing between my fingers and toes, prefer living in caves by sources of water, rivers, lakes, oceans and they're often confused for Sea Serpent hybrids but Water Dragons and Sea Serpents are distant cousins. Fire Dragon Hybrids prefer living in hot, humid places, you'll find those guys closer to the equator. Ice Dragon hybrids prefer living closer to the poles and so on, sometimes they'll come to the different Troll settlements to trade. You'll find almost anything you need, and some, here. And if we're lucky, we'll see some of the Dragon hybrids I've mentioned and those I haven't who come here to trade with the Trolls as I said they will do sometimes." I say as we keep walking, looking over Trollmarket.
Unbeknownst to our group, a big blue troll covered in crystals (Draal) watch them from the shadows. While walking, gnomes are seen scuttling around our feet.
