"If we're gonna get out of here, we're gonna need to get into that watchtower, and to do that I'm gonna need a few things." Rocket explained as we walked, a food tray in our hands. I gazed down at the tray, staring at the strange slop that oozed into the different compartments. I grimaced at the texture, trailing behind Peter.
"The guards wear security bands to control their ins and outs, I need one."
I glanced up at the second story, watching a guard tap the panel, opening the door.
"Leave it to me." Gamora spoke.
"That dude there," Rocket said, nodding his head towards a man with a limp, "I need his prosthetic leg."
I frowned, looking between the man and Rocket questionably, "His leg?"
"Yeah. God knows I don't need the rest of him, look at him he's useless." Rocket muttered. Peter gave him a quizzical stare, but shrugged. "Alright."
Rocket dat down at the table, slamming his tray down. "And finally, on the wall back there is a black panel, blinking yellow light. You see it?"
Peter turned to the tower, spotting said panel. "Yeah?"
"There's a quarnyx battery behind it, purplish box, green wires. To get in the watch tower I definitely need it that."
"How are we suppose to do that?" Gamora asked. I nodded, "This place is full of prisoners and guards."
"Well, supposedly these bald bodies find you two attractive, so maybe you guys can work out some sort of trade." Rocket shrugged.
"You must be joking." Gamora scoffed.
"No, I really heard they find you two attractive."
I rolled my eyes, staring at my food.
"Look," Peter said quickly, "It's 20 feet up in the air and it's in the middle of the most heavily guarded part of the prison. It's impossible to get up there without being seen."
"Well, I got one plan, and that plan requires a frickin' quarnyx battery so figure it out!" Rocket shouted, sitting back down, "Can I get back to it? Thanks. Now, this is important. Once the battery is removed, everything is gonna slam into emergency mode. Once we have it, we gotta move quickly, so you definitely need to get that last."
Suddenly, the power went down, the emergency lights powered up. Alarms from around the prison began going off, prisoners running rampant. We all looked up.
"What just happened?" I asked, looking around. Groot stood with his arm stretched out, the battery in his hand with a smile.
Rocket rubbed his face, "Or we can just get it first and improvise."
"I'll get the armband." Gamora said, running off.
"Leg." Peter groaned, doing the same.
"Well, what the hell am I gonna do?" I muttered, throwing my hands up a bit. Rocket looked over, pointing to the guards. "Can you fight?"
"Yeah?"
"Then prove it."
I glanced at the few guards that came to apprehend us, tasers in hand. I smirked, running up to them, immediately fighting them off.
I grabbed one of the tasers, stunning the guards as I fought. I finished with all of them on the ground, groaning in pain.
"The animal is in control, fire on my command!" A guard shouted. I look over, a line of men raising their guns at Rocket.
