jungwon stares at the ceiling above him, thinking about what happened two days ago.

yes, it's been two days since it occurred but he still can't move on from it.

also he was very embarrassed because after staring at jay for a few minutes, he just stood up and left him there without saying anything.

sunoo asked him why he was being quiet that day but he couldn't tell his cousin. not when jay was a few feet away from him, watching his every move with a confuse look.

the older must have thought he was weird for doing that.

he cringes and groans from the memory. he should've at least said something but then he felt nervous and couldn't form any words.

jungwon was about to reach for his phone when he got surprised by a sound, it sounds like it hit the window of his room.

at first he thought he was only imagining things when he saw stone hit it.

so that's where the sound was coming from. who in their right mind would throw stones at a window made of glass? he's glad that the stone was only little because he didn't want his window getting broken.

he stood up from his bed to check who or what was throwing the stones on his window. he opened it and look around before looking below. jungwon swiftly moved away from the window and fell down on the floor.

it was jay!

what was the guy doing here at this late hour?

"jungwon!" someone yelled but it was almost in a hush tone, as if he was being careful not to wake anyone.

jungwon crawls closer to his window and peeks a little. "what are you doing here, hyung?"

"I needed to talk to you." jungwon's heart hammers. are they gonna talk about what happened? "also, I miss you." okay that was jungwon's last straw.

"I... I need to sleep, hyung." he stutters. he was thanking the heaven above that it was dark or else jay might saw how red he was right now.

"can't you come with me? it'll only be for awhile."

he wasn't ready to talk with jay but then he also misses the older.

he thinks about it for a few minutes before giving the older a nod. "okay, wait there for me." he closes the window and quickly change into his favorite sweater. he was sure that it was cold outside, he already felt it by the window.

as he finished changing. he carefully plan to leave the house as quiet as he can but he got startled seeing his cousin in the living room, smirking at him.

"planning to sneak out, huh?"

"what are you doing here?" he answers, ignoring the question.

"I heard jay hyung. dumbass thought he was being quiet when he actually woke me up." sunoo giggles. "wow sneaking out with the love of your life in the middle of the night. that sounds exciting! I should try it with sunghoon hyung someday."

"oh shut up. jay hyung isn't the love of my life." jungwon says as he walk towards the door and open it. "you better be quiet about this, hyung. don't snitch on me."

"I would never." sunoo smiles at him.

he smiles back before completely leaving. he ran towards where jay was and got surprised when the older pulled him into a hug.

what's up with people surprising him today?

"hyung, I know it's cold but I'm not a human heather." he tried pulling away but jay tighten his hug.

"I know but having you in my arms does feel warm." jay pulls away but now he was holding one of jungwon's hand. "I told you I miss you."

"I... I miss you too. sorry, I got really busy and--"

"you think I would believe that?" jay chuckles. "come with me."

as far as jungwon remembers, he planned to ignore jay until the end of summer because he does not know how to handle whatever is going on with them right now.

but damn why did he let jay take him to their tree house in the middle of the night.

"what is it that you want to talk about?" he boldly ask. he was getting antsy, he can't wait long anymore. "also, are we allowed to even be here right now?"

"of course we are. I already told jake that I'm taking you here anyway."

"he knows?"

"everyone except you and sunoo knows."

"well sunoo hyung does now because he heard you!"

"we are not gonna talk about that. we're here to discuss about us."

that made jungwon blush a little. they were going to talk about them!

"okay... where should we start?"

jay stares at him for awhile before letting out a sigh. "you should know that you were being obvious that you like me."

jungwon groans before hitting him. "I already know that. stop embarrassing me!"

he laugh at how cute jungwon look. jungwon has a habit of always teasing him so whenever he tease back, he finds the younger's reaction to be amusing.

"are we only here so you can tease me about it?"

"no"

"then just--"

"I like you as well, jungwon."

"what?" he was surprised.

damn, people need to stop surprising him or else.

"you're kidding, right?"

jay chuckles and shake his head no. "why would I joke about my own feelings for you?"

"I don't know. to make me feel better or you're afraid of hurting me."

jay holds jungwon's hand before staring at him straight in the eyes.

"jungwon, I like you. don't ever doubt it because I will do everything to assure you that I do."

jungwon was supposed to feel happy hearing this but then he was scared.

he is scared of what might happen. he is scared of what others might think, specially his parents.

he knows they will oppose to this.

"we like each other but what now? what are we gonna be?" he ask.

"I think the obvious answer is that we're gonna start dating? do you not want to?"

he wants that, he badly wants that.

"I'm scared. what if in the end this won't work and we'll just break each other's heart?"

"I'm willing to have my heart broken by you."

jungwon scoffs before hitting him. "I'm serious, hyung!"

"I'm serious as well. jungwon, let's take the risk together."
