"I'm so happy you decided to stay with us this summer, wonnie!" sunoo excitedly says as he clings to his cousin. "I swear you'll love it here and it'll be the best summer that you will have!"

jungwon smiles back at his cousin. "I'm looking forward to that, hyung."

summer of 2021, jungwon's parents decided to have him stay in a province where sunoo's family lives. they said he could have some days away from the city for a change.

he wasn't really fond of the idea of being away from home, he's used to just staying in the comfort of their house, but with the fact that he'll get to spend the summer with his favorite cousin, sunoo, he gladly accepted the offer.

"I hope you don't mind if your room is still a little messy. we cleaned it up during the last minute of your arrival." his aunt says apologetically. "your mom only informed us yesterday that you'll be staying with us."

"no worries, auntie. I can clean it up myself. it isn't really that messy." jungwon says politely.

"I'm glad you decided to come." auntie smiles at him. "well, I better go and start preparing dinner. I'll leave you for now." she says before leaving the room.

he let's out a sigh once she was out of sight before starting fixing his things. luckily, the closet was clean enough for him to put his clothes there. he did have to sweep and dust some of the parts of the room but that was it. the bed was also cleaned already that he already lay down after cleaning.

he stares at the ceiling as he thinks of possible scenarios that could happen this summer.

he was already sure that sunoo would make him tag along in all of his plans. not that he minds, he loves spending time with the older.

the only thing he's nervous of is meeting new people. sunoo is a social butterfly and it's impossible that he wouldn't introduce him to some of his friends. sunoo already told him that he has some plans ready with his friends for this summer and having him with them makes it better.

but jungwon doesn't see it that way. he's not use to meeting new people since all his life, he was alone. he only grew up with sunoo being his best friend and only friend.

"hey jungwon!" his thoughts were disturb when his cousin showed up in his room with a huge grin on his face.

"what is it, hyung?" he ask, sitting up from his bed.

"I want to introduce you to my friends tomorrow. is that okay with you?"

no, it's definitely not okay. he doesn't want to.

but he didn't want to disappoint sunoo so he nod.

"of course I am!" he plead that sunoo didn't notice the fake excitement on his tone.

"great! I'm sure you'll love them." sunoo claps enthusiastically.

that jungwon isn't sure about.

wasn't suppose to publish it until tomorrow but I got bored.
