What is the rush little fellow?
Where are you off to?
Your elders woke earlier than you,
Kept a healhy balance that was rightly due!
You seem to race against the clock,
To keep your wealth under a lock.
What is the rush little fellow?
Where are you off to?
You talk like there is no tomorrow,
You hoard materials that generations can borrow.
You expanded your lifestyle,
Shrunk your thoughts,
Rationed your love,
Tweaked your values,
To benefit yourself above all!
You shun love,
Crave power,
Believing you're here forever!
You're but a tiny spec in the Universe,
With an Ego larger than the galaxy,
What is the rush little fellow?
Where are you off to?
Nature rebukes you, yet cradles you,
Worried about your wrecklessness,
Like a mother who reprimands you
For your betterment.
She needs a breather too,
Like an anxious exhausted parent,
Timeout little fellow!
