It's now mid July and we just got to our new house, it's nicer than our other. How did she afford this.

"Mama how did you afford this house" I asked because I'm seriously curious.

"Uhhh promoted from the hospital and they Uh gave me a huge check for leaving" she says.

"Oh okay, well imma go un pack and then shower" I say as I bring my last box in.

"Okay don't forget your gonna have to take Noah to the daycare place and then go to school, your car should be here tomorrow morning before you wake up" mama says as she kisses me on the cheek.

"Lucas I swear one day your gonna get your ass beat if you keep fuckin with them" Cassius says over the phone.

"Yeah but that's why I have you as a bestfriend , you'll scare them just by looking at them" Lucas says back.

"Yeah I do enjoy seeing them turn pale and run away from me" Cassius says laughing.

"Anyway schools tomorrow,meet me at the front I have news bout this girl that moved from New York" Lucas says.

"Why and how do you have information on a girl from New York, is she like new to our school" Cassius says as he lays down on his bed.

"Yes and why I don't know I heard it from somewhere I forgot, and how because I searched up her name and man she's hot but she's also" Lucas try's to say before he got cut off from Cassius background.

"CASSIUS GET YOUR ASS TO BED SO YOUR NOT LATE FOR YOUR FIRST DAY" Cassius aunt Jackie yells from down stairs.

"Man how is it possible to her yell all the way through the phone" Lucas says.

" I have no clue but I'll see you tomorrow and you can tell me more about this girl" Cassius says as he hangs up.

"Wait hello, asshat" Lucas says as he throws him self on his bed.

"Morning mama" I say as sit at the kitchen table.

"Morning babe, you excited or your first day" mama asks handing me a plate of eggs and toast.

"Nope as always mama, but usually I don't care but this time it's different, new environment, new people" I say as I take a bite of my eggs.

"Why there's always new people at your other schools" she says giving Noah oatmeal.

"Yeah buts that different they still knew who I was , my name and my reputation" I said.

"Seriously, your worried about your reputation, Cora listen to me this your chance to make new friends, get good grades because trust me I'm not saying this because I'm your mother but your really smart Cora I've seen what you can do before you decided to give your self this bad girl reputation" mama says as washes the dishes.

"Yeah but I have you and Noah that's all the friends I need, and I don't have my caterer raving anymore" I say taking another bite of eggs.

"Cora me and your brother are family , and your were bound to get caught eventually and I can't have you getting arrested again" mama says.

"I know but it was my distraction from the real world , I love the rush of adrenaline I'd get and wind in my hair when I roll the windows down" I say smiling.

"I know babe but please try and to fit in and not get kicked out please baby" mama says begging me.

"I'll try for you mama but if someone gets up in my face I will not hesitate to put a bitch in place" I say smiling.
