When 2 lost souls come together

Lunch

I was in my 4th class which is art and it is boring as hell, I love drawing but I don't like doin it in a class it's annoying how the teachers explains step by step.And what is more annoying is I can feel someone staring at the back of my head and I know who it is.

"I can feel you staring at me dip shit" I whispered as I turned to him.

"Oh I'm sorry I'm trying to learn art cupcake" Cassius says smiling.

"Are you learning about staring at a girl or art because either way I think your not learning anything" I said back.

"Someone is really feisty, I like it" he says sneaking over to sit next to me.

"Ew go away" I say putting my head down.

"Why don't you like me" he asks.

"Do you not remember at the lockers" I say lifting my head up facing him.

"Yeah but that doesn't stop from girls liking me cupcake" Cassius said with a smirk.

"Yeah hate to break it to you , but I'm not like other girls cupcake" I said getting up as the bell rang for lunch.

I turn around to see him in shock but angry.

As I was walking down the halls to find the lunch room I hear a girl crying in the bathroom. So I went and checked it out and what I saw was the girl from earlier.

"Hey you okay" I asked.

I may be a bitch sometimes but if there nice and sweet like her I will be friendly.

"Oh yeah I'm fine sorry, I-I'll leave" she says walking towards the door but before she could I grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the sink.

Why the hell she flinching.

"Girl i may be new and all , and I have the bad girl image , but i am someone you can trust, so even though we jus met what's wrong" I asked putting some cold water on her face to help her cool down.

"Nothing just getting bullied from the queen her self" she says quietly.

"Who may that be" I asked because I'm getting angry , no one should get bullied for no reason and this girl doesn't haven't a reason to be.

"Her name is kaylee" she said.

Ew even her name makes her sound like a bitch(no offense to you Kaylees out there).

"She sounds like a bitch" I said causing her to laugh.

"Yeah she bullies me all the time because our parents are allies for some business deal and she think I don't have what it takes to become that, I don't know it's stupid but that's what she said" she says

"Yeah she even sounds dumb" I say making her laugh again.

"Did she do this to you" I say rubbing her arm where's there's a new bruise.

"Yeah" she says looking in the mirror.

"What's your name" I ask.

"Maya , maya lodge" she says with a smile.

"That's a pretty name, my names Cora Johnson" I say with a smile back.

"You don't seem like a bad girl cora" she says softly.

"Yeah well that's because you haven't seen it yet" I say looking down.

"Why are you helping me" maya asks.

"Because us girls gotta stick together, unless it's girls like kaylee they deserve a beating" I say looking back up to see if she was scared but she wasn't she started laughing which made me laugh.
