MUBINA's POV

It was very easy for me to convince myself that everything is going to work out just perfectly, but to be honest some part of me tells me this won't work but another part of me seems optimistic and as long as I have khalil by my side i know for a fact that everything is going to be just fine inshallah, i should call him"I said to myself nervously grabbing my phone .

Assalamu alaikum "he picked after the first ring, his voice sounds down not any better than mine, you could feel the tension in both our voices.

Wa'alaikumu salam"I gulped, then came the silence and i decided to break it, we need to talk khalil .

Ok, I am at work now but i will come to your place later inshllah" he replied immediately, he obviously wants to see me so bad, definitely must have missed me so bad, i missed him more .

No not to my place, I will come and see you myself "i point out " hope it's ok with you ? i added

I quickly walk to my bathroom and shower up, i wear a red Atamfa and tie my scarf in a ture kaga tsiya style, my whole life i have never been this restless, one look and you could tell i am not the same fierce mubina i used to be, am now the scared and nervous girl, the big girl in me is literally 1% now, i applied a lot of makeup to cover up my worried face, i spray perfume and grabbed my phone, i walk downstairs and met my mum and dad laughing at some joke, Really ? Are this two kidding me right now ?? since when did they become best friends again ? Wow just wow!!

Where are you going all dressed up ? My mum asked

To see a friend "i answered giving my dad a side hug and i am taking your car" i added with a smile, she didn't argue, on a normal circumstances we would have been be arguing over me taking her car, but why should we now, i am her favorite child now, like her only favorite child that is agreeing to marry her favorite friend's son "mark the sarcasm". She hand me her car key smilingly

I drove to Khalil's company and parked at the gate because the gateman wouldn't let me park inside" i hissed and stepped out of the car, with a mental note of asking Khalil to fire him as i walk pass him" he doesn't know who he is stopping from driving in, i am literally the C.E.O's wife to be dumbass" I said in my head

I walked inside more like cat walked, everyone attention is on me, the men keep checking me out, i mean i know i am looking good, so of course i can't stop the attention.

Good morning "I said to khalil secretary, she answered squeezing her already ugly face, i remember seeing her picture with malika some weeks back on My instagram explore page and i am sure she knows who i am.
