Rumors had begun to spread across the Hidden Leaf Village, a Uchiha prodigy born that was believed to be the one to lead the clan out of the shadows.

Picking up skills and learning jutsus rapidly At a young age, His abilities outclassing that of the Other kids his age

His level of skill was so far above other his age, able to replicate jutsu, skills, and much others even before unlocking his Sharingan.

Neither Itachi or Shisui were at this level of excellence at such a young age.

Shisui's younger brother however, was an entirely different case from the older two Uchiha.

Kenjiro Uchiha was brought into this world at the expense of his mother's life.

Unfortunately, she passed away while in the process of childbirth—Kenjiro's chakra being so dense that his mother's own system couldn't handle it.

Both Shisui and their father, Kagami Uchiha, struggled with the grief, their will to do anything decreased tenfold.

Eventually, Shisui decided he couldn't live this way. His mother would hate both he and his father if they blamed her death on her child.

Bringing life is one of the most beautiful processes, and if a woman sacrifices her life for the baby. She would want that baby to be loved.

And so, Shisui devoted himself to doing what his mother would have wanted—Giving Kenjiro a happy life.

As for their father, he couldn't stand to even look at his second child, the one who took the life of his beloved.

His disgust regarding Kenjiro was so evident, everyone in the clan could see his dislike for the child.

Shisui resented the man for this. Kenjiro wanted nothing more than to be recognized by their father, and that was one thing Shisui couldn't do for his younger brother.

Much like Shisui's decision to make a change, Kagami did too—as he took his own life, deciding he had enough.

He couldn't stand to look at the face of Kenjiro any longer, a face that resembled so closely of that of his wife.

Kenjiro couldn't understand why this had happened. All the other kids had loving parents, but he himself had no mother, his father would look at him like he was scum—and now he didnt have one.

It was then, that Shisui saw his little brother begin to change.

Shisui had no time to grieve the loss of their father, the man was basically a deadbeat anyways.

He was all his brother had now, and he had to try his best to give Kenjiro a good childhood.

And a good childhood was what Kenjiro had, as Shisui had done whatever he could in order to provide for his brother—and Kenjiro appreciated that.

That was however, until the head of the Uchiha clan showed up at their doorstep.

The loud knocks sounded through their small home, as Shisui rushed to open the door, suprised to see Fugaku Uchiha there.

"Shisui."

"Fugaku-Sama. To what do I owe the pleasure?"

"Kenjiro Uchiha—your brother, will now be trained under me."

Shisui had to hide his disgust at the words, not fond of what the man had said, or his tone.

"I have to disagree. He is doing just fine under my own teachings."

"Has He Unlocked his Sharingan?"

"Has Sasuke?" Shisui responded with a cold tone.

"Must you be reminded of whom you are speaking to?"

"Kenjiro is barely of age to start the academy, and you have a son his age. So with no disrespect, I must say to focus on your own family."

There was noone in the entirety of the Uchihaclan that could speak to Fugaku the way Shisui did—as he most definetly did mean it with disrespect but he had no parents, and was one of the most valuble assets to the clan.

And Shisui knew of his value to the clan, and he would protect his brother from the evil of the Uchiha.

"You do not have a choice in the matter child. I and the elders have both decided the is the best course of action for the clan."

"I could care less about the elders. As his last living family member, I think the choice is actually mine to make."

Shisui showed zero signs of changing his stance on the matter, as Fugaku was visibly angry now

Tensions ran high as neither men backed down, both set on their goals.

So much so, that neither saw the younger Uchiha was now there, tugging on Shisui's shirt as he looked up at his brother

"It's okay Shisui-Nii, i'll do it."

Both men looked down in suprise, though a cocky smile soon taking its place on Fugaku's face as Shisui kneeled down to his brother's level.

"Kenji- you don't have to do this, okay?"

Both men waited for the younger Uchiha to respond, as Kenjiro looks to be thinking it over

"You already come home tired everyday...I don't want you to have to worry about training me everyday."

Shisui opened his mouth, prepared to respond, but failing to find the words as he hung his head, knowing Kenjiro was right.

He stands back up as he looks eye to eye with Fugaku.

"Fine. But he is only a child, and I swear if you do anything to him that may be even the slightest bit unethical, you'll see a side of me you won't like."

Fugaku looked at the man with a smug smirk, almost taunting Shisui with his words next.

"Glad we could come to an agreement, we shall begin tomorrow."

Shisui retorts, slamming the door immediately afterwards.

"Fuck off."
