𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍 𝐒𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐘 𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐃 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌, confused as to what she meant, recognizing her as the Genin they agreed to avoid.

"I'd assume you want my scroll...?"

Ronin helps Kenjiro, who is still in pain, to his feet, as the three look at the odd ninja pull out their scroll, an earth one at that.

They watch as the ninja throws the scroll at the three, a soft thud sounding out as it hits the ground before the feet of Mai.

"Now... in return... We'll fight to the death."

They all watch as Mai hesitantly picks the scroll up, storing it with the other one they had.

"And I don't think Mr. Uchiha over there is in any condition to run..."

They hated to admit it but she was right, the fall had knocked the wind out of him and the corner of his mouth continued to bleed

They were all disturbed by the Genin, the entire situation was eerie, their previous confidence replaced by fear and confusion. Questions about the Genin and their proposition to fight to the death ran rampant in their minds.

"Who are you." Ronin spoke.

Watching as the Genin appeared before the three, not bothering to answer Ronin, moving faster than they could even perceive, even faster than Kenjiro's flicker and Mai's speed, slashing through the three, each of them frozen in place as their bodies writhed in pain.

"Release."

A small pulse of chakra came from Kenjiro, as they three were immediately released from what was a Genjutsu.

None of them saw the Genin cast it. The pain, it felt so real.

The Uchiha's two teammates were distraught, the Genjutsu freezing the two in place as their bodies tremble in fear.

He had seen worse.

Itachi made him see worse.

Kenjiro planted, grabbing Mai and Ronin as he flickered all three of them into the trees, each of them moving at their top speed through them, running away from the inevitable fight again.

They hadn't been so scared before.

There was something about this Genin that made them not want to fight.

They all halted as a large snake appeared in front of them, its mouth opening as the Genin from before exited it, making them all question how she had caught up with them.

"Very rude to run, and with my scroll at that."

Sighing, Kenjiro brought a weapon scroll out of the pouch on his leg, opening the scroll as a small tantō replaced it, unsheathing it and getting into a stance to prepare to fight.

"Theres no way we can run. If we fight together we may be able to take this person down."

By now they had all assumed that this was no Genin and the exams had been infiltrated somehow.

Kenjiro and Mai both activated their respective Dojutsu, as Ronin brandished a kunai, the three got ready to attack.

Preparing to fight for their lives.

"How beautiful..." the mysterious ninja was practically giddy at the sight, "two of the three great dojutsu active at once."

Kenjiro flickered behind the ninja, not giving her anymore time to taunt the three.
