Chapter 4: The hall of Fame

<Third Person POV

Deku slowly steps into the main building of the hall of fame. A large blockade was around the area where the heroes were patrolling around the building.

Many statues of all might and other high ranking heroes were put around the edges of this building along with other memorabilia from the heroes.

"Momma is that the number 1 hero Deku" A little kid shouted from behind

The mother nodded in response and the little boys eyes instantly looked up at Deku. He turned around to look at the boy but as soon as he did the boy hid behind his mother's leg.

"Hey" Deku said bending down to the kids level

"Hi M-Mr deku" he stuttered

Deku smiled... This little boy reminded him a lot of his younger self .. excited by heroes... Awkward...

"Is there anything you want to ask me" Deku asked politely

"Uh.. c-can I have an autograph" the kid asked while holding a little book in his hands similar to Deku's hero notes

"Sure" Deku replied accepting the book from the kid

He signed it and drew a little smiley face on the end. The kid looked satisfied so Deku started to walk away to patrol another area...

"WAIT MR DEKU" the kid yelled

"Mhm" Deku responded as he started to walk back to the kid

"I have a question.... Is there anyway a .. quirkless person like me could become a hero like you" he shouted out towards Deku

Some sniffled were heard in the background but Deku simply shot them a death glare which instantly shut them up...

"You know a good friend of mine was quirkless and he wanted to become a hero too" Deku told him

"D-did he succeed" the kid asked

"Yeah he did.. I'm sure you can be just like him if you try hard enough" Deku said

"T-thank you Mr Deku" he replied almost crying

His mother was nearly in tears and the crowd was completely silent as they expected the hero of many quirks to shut down his dreams fast. I'm sure they don't expect the number 1 hero to be a once quirkless bullied kid..

"Your welcome" deku said smiling as he walked away to the other side of the hall of fame

When he looked towards the other side of the hall of fame he could see class 1A... or most of them...

Apparently sato gave up his hero dream to become a chef and koda joined him to form the greatest hero based cafe to ever hit the world.

Mineta was surprisingly popular as a hero. He had a decent sized fan base and actually managed to be in the top 50 heroes. The rest of the class had become heroes and were scattered from anywhere in the top 100 rankings.

Deku started to make his way over to them. Luckily they were actually separated into groups. The guys were on the right and the girls were on the left.

He walked over to them and looked over to the girls. They all glared at him and he responded with a raised eyebrow.

All the girls except for Asui turned their backs and got into a little huddle as if they were discussing secret plans....

Deku ignored them and started walking over to the boys who were chatting between themselves. He knew for sure they wouldn't ignore them like the girls did.

"Hey man it's been awhile" kirishima said with his arm out

Deku gripped his hand with a smile and greeted his friend...

"How was life in America" they asked

"It was alright , although nothings better than being back in Japan" he told them and the group smiled at him

Ochako looked towards deku along with the rest of the girls. He looked back at kirishima and the guys who shrugged their shoulders...

"H-hey guys do you know what's up with them" Deku asked confused

"Sorry man I'm pretty sure we'd be breaking the bro-code if we told you what's going on with them" kirishima responded

"U-uh why" Deku questioned

"It's some sort of roma—" Kaminari started to say before being chopped By lida

"Remember what jirou said she would do" lida whispered

"Gulp" kaminari gUlPeD

Deku raised an eye brow before they all shrugged their shoulders...

'How can something be so important' Deku wondered

Suddenly Asui started to walk over to the guys abandoning the girls for the time being. She tapped deku on the backs and he turned to see her..

"Hey Asui" he greeted

"Hey midoriya ITS TSU" she responded

"So what did you come here to tell me. Assuming that you wanted to tell me a specific thing and not a conversation" Deku mumbled

Sniffles from the guys behind. It looks like Deku's mumbling never exited his body since his high school days.

"Uh yeah I think I can tell you the girl problem over there" Asui told him

"PSST ASUI IM PRETTY SURE THEY WOULD KILL YOU IF YOU DID THAT" Kaminari said

"He needs to find out somehow and I'm pretty sure Ochako will thank me later if I do this sooner also ITS TSUUUUU" Asui explained

"Asui- I MEAN TSU has a point there" lida informed

All the guys nodded....

"ALTHOUGH we will not be telling you it and leaving it to Asui since she has a higher chance of survival against them since she is better friends with the girls" lida continued

"Good point" they all said

"I suggest we move outside to avoid them hearing is" Asui told Deku

They both soon stepped outside through the back exit so Asui could explain the entire situation....

-With the girls

"You're overreacting ochako" momo told her

"What do you mean" she responded

"You know how Midoriya is , he probably didn't mean to offend you" momo said

"Plus it's been years and you're still annoyed over nothing" jirou added

"Ughhhh fine I'll admit it ... your right but I still have no idea what to do next" Ochako said with her hands in face

"I think you should try and rekindle your friendship... although you shouldn't try anything with him since ... yeah" momo explained

(No one in class 1A knows that Ochako actually cut him off from explaining why he couldn't date her... yet)

"Your right... I'll talk to him .. Uh after tsu is done talking to him" Ochako told them getting nods from all of her friends

"... hmm I wonder what tsu is doing with hi—" Ochako mumbled

"SNAP OUT OF IT OCHAKO... you know she isn't like that" mina yelled

"Yeah you're right" Ochako replied with her head down

She looked over to Tsu and Deku who were going to talk outside the hall of fame for a while...

'Oh boy what am I gonna do' she wondered
