Chapter 5: The explanation

<Third Person POV>

"So what exactly is she mad about" Deku asked

Asui raised her hand up to her chin and looked deku in the eye. Even with the great amount of stupidity radiating from kaminari when he nearly said romantic Deku still hadn't managed to find the answer.

"Well it all started years ago the day before you left for America" Asui explained

Deku raised his eyebrow in confusion. He must think that he did nothing that day... I mean I don't remember what I did 6 years ago but then again I'm just some stupid author...

"Well spill the beans" he told me

"Well on that day ... you rejected Ochako..." Asui told him with her head looking at the ground

"OHHHH I remember now" deku mumbled

"And then she ran away crying" Asui continued

"Uh Asui—"

"TSUUU" she yelled back

"That's not the entire story" he revealed

"W-wait what" Asui says confused

"Well before she ran away crying I was about to tell her that I couldn't date her yet due to hero work...I actually kinda like her" Deku revealed

"that makes much more sense" Asui whisper told

"I knew it was unlike you to do something like that" Asui revealed

"U-uh thanks I guess" he replied

"Well what should be my next step to... uh... getting Uraraka" he asked

"Well you should probably ask her out on a date... this is a perfect opportunity considering she is right around the corner" she told him

"UH YEAH THATS RIGHT" Deku whisper yelled

"So where should I take her..." he asks

"Well she has a creepy obsession with mochi so bring her somewhere that has that.." Asui explained

"... that's pretty much the criteria for stealing her heart" Asui joked

Deku giggled... he had learned of her mochi addiction during school but never realised how it could help him... then again he was completely oblivious to her advances and didn't even realise his own crush on her years after..

Now that he had the main plan laid out... (the plan consisted of get mochi... probably) all that was left was actually asking her...

'She liked me before... but does she still like me... she could have changed types during the years... she could hate me because she didn't listen to my explanation on why I couldn't date her yet' Deku thought as he paced the back of the hall of fame

"Midoriya you know your saying that out loud" Asui reminded

"AH OH SORRY A— TSU" he responded

Tsu who noticed he was about to say Asui was not impressed. She gave him "the look" to signalise that he just shouldn't mention it again.

"A little word of advice... just do it it's better to find out sooner than later" Asui told him signalling to the door with her hands

Deku slowly stumbled to the door and grubbed the door knob tightly. Asui followed close behind as he opened the door to see Ochako 20 feet away.

A shiver passed through deku as he moved towards her. The guys looked at him shocked that he of all people would just go talk to her instead of panicking for an hour.

From the back Tsu signalled to the rest of the girls to follow her to where her and Deku previously were talking. This left Ochako and Deku alone...

All of the girls exited the room with tsu.. Deku stared at Ochako who had a very emotionless face on. Deku gulped before collecting the courage to start a conversation with his crush...

"U-uh Hi" Deku said

'Aww dammit I can't stay made for long... he didn't even do anything wrong... plus how can you stay mad at that adorable face' Ochako pondered looking back at him..

"U-uh Hi" she replied smiling

The got a smile from Deku too.. the guys from behind had the ugliest possible smile on each of their faces. It was the only think that could describe their happiness..

-Outside

"Girls Ochako didn't exactly explain the entire story" Tsu told them

"W-WHAT" mina yelled

"Calm down mina this is a public area... why are we having so much drama while we should be patrolling" momo explained

"DID YOU JUST ASSUME WE COULDN'T  HAVE DRAMA WHILE PATROLLING" mina shouted

"Y-yes" momo replied

"We'll your wrong I'm the queen of drama and I think this is going swimmingly" mina retorted

"Ugh fine... Tsu what was the full story" momo asked

"Well you know when Ochako said she ran away" Tsu said

The girls all nodded in response...

"Well when she did that she cut off midoriya from explaining that he likes her but couldn't date yet due to hero work" Tsu told them

"THAT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE ..." they all replied

"WE ALL KNOW THAT CINNAMON ROLL CANNOT HURT ANYONE EMOTIONALLY... although he would obliterate anyone in a fight" mina yelled

"Exactly" Tsu said nodding

"I told midoriya to go and ask out her out... let's just hope he can pull the confidence out of somewhere" Tsu continued

"Don't worry tsu .. have you seen his latest interviews he barely stuttered" momo told them

"Yeah because he is confident in hero work and not romance" jirou added

"Your opinion doesn't count on this .. you've been trying to get kaminari to catch your signals for the past 8 years... Not that stabbing him with an ear jack is a signal.." mina told her

Jirou blushed and turned away earning a smirk from mina...

" aright .. settle down let's go back inside and see what those two are up to" momo told them holding the door open

On the other side Ochako was leading deku to another area of the hall of fame. The girls and guys who were still chatting smirked...

'Hell yeah they are getting along again' they all thought

"Deku I want to talk to you in private" Ochako told him

"B-but why it's not like anyone can hear us from here" he told her

"Trust me .. the media have superhuman ears" Ochako told him grabbing his wrist to drag him to the other side of the hall of fame

Deku was unsure what was over here since he usually just stays in the main area. Eventually he got far enough to see a door leading to the outside..

It was now raining... a little bridge was outside although it was wet and slippery. A tree with pink leaves was also outside.

Ochako lead him to the bridge and turned towards him....

"I'm sorry..." she mumbled
