After Ava finished changing into her training gear, she noticed Mitch being called into Stan's office located at the edge of the gym. From what she could gather, it looked as though whatever it was he wanted to discuss was pretty serious. Stan peered around the gym to see if anyone was looking at Mitch entering his office, which the brunette found to be quite odd. Ava didn't know if the man did it on purpose, but it's clear that Mitch is his favorite out of everyone here- not that she cared.

Still waiting for the pair to emerge from the office, Ava decided to fill her water bottle by the locker room door, where a fosett hung from the middle of the wall. Little did she know that a certain Raven haired guy was stood behind her from, leaning his weight on the side of the wall. Once she spun around, Ava could feel her eyeballs fighting to not roll themselves into an early grave.

"Fosett is free", she remained with a deadpan expression.

Ethan proceeded to eye her up like a rack of lamb, even after her scolding upstairs in the meeting room. Will he ever get the hint?

"So Ava, you seeing anyone?", he asked with a serious expression on his face.

Ava placed her water down, and nonchalantly crossed her arms. " Oh yeah, dating as a secret agent is totally doable", she retorted with sarcasm.

"It can be", he grew a playful smirk. "It depends on who you chose to date- I mean, doesn't it make sense for a cia agent to date a fellow cia agent?".

Ava knew where he was getting at. It doesn't take an idiot to see the blatant hints he's dropping. " Even if it does, I still wouldn't be interested in dating anyone".

"And why's that, if I may ask?", he began to carefully study her facial features.

The girl furrowed her eyebrows, feeling a little uncomfortable discussing her dating life to a complete stranger. She then contemplated a valid answer, but, to her relief, Stan had emerged from his office and called them over to the mat. She could see the slight frustration sitting on Ethan's exterior, which worsened her already not-so-great opinion of him. Why the hell did he want to know about her dating life so badly?

" This will be the last training session before we embark on the mission undercover, so I want all three of you to give it your all today", he shifted his stare to each of them swiftly. -" That means I don't want to see any mistakes on your behalf. We clear?".

"Yes, sir", the three of them replied in sync.

Ava's eyes unconsciously diverted to Mitch, who seemed to be pondering a deep thought, occasionally looking at Ethan and back to her direction. If he's under the allusion that I like him, then he's in for a surprise, I don't find creepy guys attractive, Ava thought to herself

" Mitch, you're on defense combat with Ava. Ethan, with me", Stan announced, breaking her brief eye contact with the brunet.

The rhythmic beating of the girl's heart suddenly sped up, and she could feel heat creeping up her bare neck. This would be the first direct contact to have since the day they met, which clearly got off to a Rocky start. Anxious beyond words, Ava attempted to shake off any nerves she was currently being consumed by, and followed Mitch to the far right of the mat, away from Stan and the creepy backup agent. His attire had changed since the meeting, as he was now wearing black gym shorts with a dark blue top. The veins in his arms were vividly showing, causing her to momentarily catch a breath that was hitched in her throat.
