I scroll through my phone, looking at all the contacts i'd copied from my moms old phone. I look at all the pictures and attached information. I go through the facebook links and statuses. I angrily tap away at my screen looking for something, anything. The man in the black audi occupies my thoughts. It was excrutiating. Frustrated, i throw my phone against the wall and immediatly regret it. The expensive piece of glass hits the wall, bounces off m desk and hits the floor with a loud smash. I grab it from the floor but only half ends up in my hand. Tje entire front of the phone lies in broken pieces strewn across my wooden floor, like a 1000 piece puzzle.
As i walk through the door of Apple, a little bell chimes. The store consists of an old man trying to use an ipad. i walk up to the counter and clear my throat. The employee who was previously sitting facing oppoaite to me turns in a spinng chair and looks at me with his bright green eyes. The same green eyes as the new kid at school. I sigh as he grins.
" are you stalking me addison. You know you can get arrested for that right?" he ponders. I grunt unnattractively and gesture to my broken chunks of phone. Joel takes is eyes off me and cringes dramaticaly at the sight of the mess of glass.
" oh my.... What did you do?" He asks with a chuckle. I glare at him.
" this poor phone. What ever did it do to deserve the wrath of addison charles?" I continue to glare. He holds his hands up in surrender and takes the bag of brokeness to the back. He comes back with three different phones.
" now im assuming you want a trade in since youve only had that phone for a year. at least thats what your plan says. So youve got these three options." He says and gestures to the phones. I contemplate which one and end up choosing the newest iphone. Joel nods in aproval and brings it into the back. He comes back another ten minutes later.
" okay... its all set up. Everything on your last phone is on here. I think thats it..." He says. I nod in thanks and turn to walk out the door when he calls out;
" you should break your phone more often."
