Chapter 1 ~Introduction~

       Today was a day like any other, nothing special whatsoever. Bakugo and Midoriya fighting outside, Mina getting people to dance, Todoroki trying to get his father arrested, and heros across the globe fighting villans day and night. Though one person stood out like no other, (m/n) (l/n).

    He was anti-social, but people know who he is. (M/n) is a student at UA in class 1-a. His quirk is Shapeshift, though the drawbacks can be severe. Since his parents were killed due to a massive villain attack, he lives with the pro hero Midnight.
   He's good with his quirk, but (m/n) is better a hand-to-hand combat. His quirk allows his body to shift into the animal or human of desire, but the size or shape effects the transition. For example, when he shifts into an animal, his bones break and reform, his organs grow/shrink to the place they need to be, and his skin changes to the animal of desire.

  (M/n) likes to watch over Eri when he can, he loves drawing and is good at painting night skies. He likes the outdoors and likes winter the most. He takes pleasure in villain's pain, and doesn't do well with emotions.

   When he isn't in UA studying to be a pro hero, he's working at shops to have enough money to keep a roof over his head and food on his plate. Sometimes he has to go days without heating or water, but he makes due. Thanks to the UA dorms though, he won't have to worry about anything like that for a while.
  
      (M/n) hates arrogant people like Bakugo and Monoma, spicey foods, tart things, and liars. Being touched isn't his forté either, though he's trying to open up a bit more to it. He's a big introvert and gets anxious when in big crouds of people. (M/n) is able to cook, so the people around him don't care about his sour behavior or lack of as long as he cooks for them.
    (M/n) had a few problems that he was dealing with some serious sleeping problems, and severe anxiety. (M/n) couldn't really cope with emotions, so he either ignored them, or bottled them up. But apart from that, (m/n) has a mutual alliance with Tokoyami and gets therapy with Todoroki.

   When he's with Tokoyami he's listening to gothic music and performing rituals to summon demons, trying to sell their souls. It never ends up working.

"Hey (m/n), are you ready to perform the ritual of the day?" Tokoyami asks, turning to face me. I start setting everything up, drawing the symbol and lighting the candles. He clears his throat, getting ready to start chanting. As you started the ritual up, and Tokoyami had started chanting, something unexpected happened. The candles blew out from a nonexistant wind, and Tokoyami stopped chanting.
  "Did it work?" I ask out loud. For about 30 seconds nothing had happened and everything went still. Just when you gave up, light flashed throughout the room, and in seconds a portal appeared. Excitement rushed through your body, but faded as soon as it came.

  "I'm going through it." You said, your voice cutting the silence in the room. Tokoyami looked hesitant for a moment, which gave you enough time to jump through. "Wait N-" his voice faded into the nothingness as you fell through all space and time.
