Within the gesticulations your bodies rendered to the empty crowd was a tension unresolved; a fire in the soaring heat of your hands. You were no chemist nor did you understand the depths that defined science, but you need not to when you figured that the existing chemicals hidden within the walls of the earth combined to create an unpleasant hash that crept through the shallow veins. Hills formed on your skin each time his fingers slithered against your legs, your bottom lip getting close to bleeding as the ends of your teeth pressured on it every time he exhaled against the curve of your neck. The way your bodies snapped in sync as gravity pulled them against the melody led to a pair of pounding hearts while your movements slowed when the music did. The way you rolled your hips provoked the innocence you weren't even sure you had, perhaps foreshadowing a much-appreciated reward for a job well done. A vehemence rushed in the company of the blazing adrenaline and a cloud blurred the brightness of your vision.
