Hello!! Before the story starts I want to say that this is my first time writing and publishing, so I hope you enjoy it! The pronouns of the reader will not be classified to fit yourself more in the spot! Sorry the first part is a little short, it's a bit late here ahh. I promise I'll get out more tomorrow!

You are, however a traveler from another world, traveling through Teyvat much like Lumine/Aether in the game. You've been through Mondstadt already and befriended a lot of people there, Venti being one of your best friends.

Liyue. Mondstadt. The World. The..Universe? Who am I? Where..am I?

"He...oo......?"

What? Who's..voice is that?

"H..ll...o?"

As you slowly flutter your eyes open, you're greeted by bright, green and blue eyes, dark twin braids, and a happy face. A face you knew well, one that was familiar.

"Hello? Hellooooo? Wakey wakey, sleepy head! Teyvat to- hehe, there you are! You were so tired from taking requests from the Mondstadt citizens, you passed out right here in Windrise, ehe!"

That's right. It was the familiar face and voice of your friend, the Anemo Archon, Venti. You slowly rose from laying down, glancing around at the scenery of Windrise. It truly was beautiful. Venti took a step back as you stood up and brushed yourself off, yawning and stretching a little. The sun was shining bright in the sky, from what you could tell, maybe it was mid-morning? After gazing at the sky for a moment you looked over at the bard.

(Y/N) | "Venti..why did you wake me up?" You ask, still a bit tired.

Venti | "You'd scare off all the people in Windrise if you stayed laying dead asleep in the middle of the field!"

(Y/N) | "Righttttt.." You looked at him, a bit skeptical before suddenly realizing, you needed to get going towards Liyue! The Lantern Rite would be held soon, and you didn't want to miss it. "L-Liyue! I need to go to Liyue!"

Venti | "Hehe, wanna catch the Lantern Rite festival, don't you? You might wanna start going soon, or else you might not make it to Wangshu Inn before sunset~" Venti teased, winking at you.

You hastily nod, stretching a little before waving and saying your goodbyes to him. You're off, on your way to Wangshu Inn, determined to get there before nightfall. Of course, you could ask Diluc to stay at the Dawn Winery for the night, but being how he is you doubt he'd let you stay.

You know what, who needs Diluc and his Dawn Winery anyway! I'll make it to Wangshu Inn before sunset, mhm! No problem.

You thought to encourage yourself. As the hours went on and time passed, you start to approach Wuwang Hill. Looking up in the sky to see where the sun is at, you sigh as you notice it setting. Figuring there was nothing better to do, you took a seat down on the grass to watch. As you watch the sun disappear into the night sky, you are oblivious of the growing danger behind you. A Fatui Cicin Mage was approaching from behind you, hoping to sneak up on you. Accidentally stepping on a twig, you hear it snap between the mage's feet. You quickly look behind you but before you could even draw your sword, a bright flash of red covered your view, as you felt the familiar heat of fire hitting your body. The Fatui Mage fell to the ground, standing behind the mage was a not very tall girl, with long, brown pigtails. In her hand she was wielding a flaming Polearm, looking right at you with a smile.
