I know its been a really long time but I've been traveling a lot recently and finally settled backdown!! I'm super sorry to everyone who's been waiting for a new part, and I swear I'll get a schedule of updating it. Probably a new part every week since I have to balance life and stuff too, but with summer ending for me soon I'll have a lot more freetime bc my summers are usually always busy. Also! Ever since I got Skyward Harp my Childe has been doing amazing damage kjdhssjk and his build isn't even done yet so like I- he's way better than what he used to be

Here's him doing 183k on his ranged ult 😌 the only buff he had was me and my friend's Bennett ult (it says only 136k but at the top right is 46k which when you do his ranged ult, the effect riptide sets off another blast so technically it was 183k)
Thank god my friend was recording so they could get screenshots of their Zhongli damage but I may or may not of stole the show a little bit, hehe

Hu Tao | "Yoh, Master Xingqiu, Chongyun!" She called out, waving as she walked over to them.
Xingqiu | Both of them seemed to look up when they heard their names called, but Xingqiu was the only one who responded. "Why hello there Hu Tao."
You stayed sitting at the table as you watched Xingqiu, Chongyun and Hu Tao talk. However, you noticed that the conversation was well, more Xingqiu Hu Tao and less Chongyun. Wondering why that was, you noticed as Hu Tao waved you over, gesturing for you to come over. You nodded, getting up and heading over to the group. Once you got there, Hu Tao put a hand on your shoulder and smiled.
Hu Tao | "I'm (Y/N)'s travel guide! And hearing that you two were headed off to Cuijue Slope, I was hoping we could tag along! Pretty please?"
Xingqiu | "I don't see why not." He responded, looking over at Chongyun for his approval. After he nodded Xingqiu turned to look at you. "I am Xingqiu, and this is my buddy Chongyun. Pleasure to meet you, my liege."
(Y/N) | "Oh no really, the pleasure is mine. My name is (Y/N), thank you both for allowing us to tag along."
Hu Tao | She let out a small giggle as you introduced yourself to the group. "Well then, lets get going. No time to waste!"

As the group was walking through Luhua Pool, Cuijue Slope was getting closer. Hu Tao and Xingqiu took the lead, seeming to be chatting up a storm ahead of you and Chongyun. You figured this would be a good time to talk to him and get to know him better.
(Y/N) | "They seem to be getting along well up there." You murmured, watching as their conversation carried on.
Chongyun | He sighed with a nod. "I'm not surprised, they're the exact same."
(Y/N) | You tilt your head, glancing over to look at him. "Exact same, what do you mean?"
Chongyun | "Xingqiu and Hu Tao, they're more similar than you would think. Xingqiu may seem like a well-mannered young man on the outside, but he's a true prankster at heart. I, unfortunately am a victim of this. Putting up with her must be no different, right?"
(Y/N) | You nodded with a bit of a worried smile. "You have a point." You responded, glancing back in front of you at Xingqiu. No wonder he was getting along well with Hu Tao. "You must be a well-trusted exorcist to be chosen by the Qixing for this commission huh?"
Chongyun | He nodded. "My family has practiced the art of exorcism in Liyue for many many years. However, I don't think that was the reason they came to me. Probably because they didn't want to go to the Conqueror of Demons, Adeptus Xiao."
(Y/N) | "Why wouldn't they? He's a defender of Liyue, right?"
Chongyun | He had a bit of a troubled look on his face when you asked. "Well, yes..but the Qixing have strong feelings towards the adepti, especially the Yuheng, Keqing. Now that Liyue is evolving out of the era of the adepti's time, she thinks that the people of Liyue can defend themselves without help from them."
(Y/N) | Keqing, Yuheng of the Liyue Qixing..Hu Tao sure was right when she said she had strong opinions. "Have you ever seen Xiao before?"
Chongyun | "He's worked with us exorcists for many generations and I hold a high respect for him, its just, he doesn't usually have anything nice to say. He says our power is trivial repertoire is lacking. I see him on some occasions, but not usually too often."
You were about to say something in response to Chongyun before getting cut off from a voice up ahead.
