The scene opens up with a closeup of Ruby's hands as she straps the red laces of her shoes. Switch to a closeup of Weiss' hand gripping the handle of Myrtenaster strapped to her side. Switch to a closeup of Yang's Ember Celica over her left forearm as she slides the chamber. Switch to a closeup of Blake tightening the black ribbons around her arms. Switch to a full view of Team RWBY's prep.

Blake: "Ugh, I thought that class would never end."

A sudden knock is heard on their door as Ruby opens it to reveal team LIMA and SAIN, all wearing casual outfits aside from Mito, who is wearing the same, and Azalea, who is wearing a combat vest.

Liena: "Hello!"

Sapphire: (lightly smiles) "We're here."

Ruby: "You're here! Come in!"

Ruby motions for the members of Team SAIN and LIMA to enter their dorm, which they gladly did.

Ruby: "Alright, guys, today's the day! The investigation begins!"

Weiss: (sarcastically) "I'm glad to see we're taking this so seriously."

Yang: "Hey, we've got a plan! That's... moderately serious."

Ruby: "Right! (Looks at everyone) Everyone remember their roles?"

Liena: (raises hand) "Yeah... about that."

Natalie: (crosses arms) "What are our roles?"

Weiss: "Ruby, Liena, and I will head to the CCT and check the Schnee records for any other Dust robberies or inconsistencies. Seeing as I'm in the family, it shouldn't be a problem."

Liena: "I should be able to come easily, since I'm a citizen of Atlas."

Blake: "The White Fang has regular faction meetings to hand out orders and recruit new members. If I can get in, I can hopefully find out what they're planning."

Iroha: (nervously) "Blake... can I come with you?"

Blake: (smiles) "Of course."

Yang: "I have an old friend on the shady side of town that typically knows everything going on in Vale. Getting information out of him shouldn't be too hard..."

Azalea: "Oh?~ I want to come! It shouldn't be hard. Not too hard."

Yang: "Sure... just don't do anything crazy."

Azalea: "Oh~ don't worry, I'm a good girl~"

Yang cheesily smiles at Azalea's tone. Sapphire coughs and gains everyone's attention.

Sapphire: (coughs) "Okay... what about us?" (Points at her team)

Ruby: (thinks for a moment) "Hm... Maybe you guys can be on standby just in case something goes wrong in any of our roles." (Laughs nervously)

Sapphire: "Hm... (looks at her team) What do you guys think?"

Ivory closes her eyes and gives a thumbs-up as she nods in approval.

Aruna: (rubs arms) "Sure... I'll take it."

Natalie: "It's fine with me. But Indigo and the others might give us a long talk if we get involved in this, especially the two of us."

Sapphire: (giggles) "Don't worry, Natie. I'll use my charms on Indigo to let us off the hook for this one."

Natalie: (nervously) "Like hell it worked. You've done that multiple times already."
