Chris passes Ruby and approaches Qrow and helps him up.

Chris: "You okay, Branwen?"

Qrow: "I'll be fine."

Chris: "Looks like a deep cut. Sapphire, bandages!"

Qrow: "I said I'm fine."

Sapphire: "On it!"

Sapphire approaches and wraps a white bandage around his upper torso.

Sapphire: "There."

Chris: "Let's go, now. The Inquisitors chased after them. But we're going back to the mainland."

Harrison: "Sounds... Sounds like a plan."

Ruby: "What's going on here...?"

Pyrrha: "Chris, Sapphire, what are you doing here...?"

Aruna: "Are you all stalking us?"

Harrison: "Well..."

Qrow: "Tell me, what's your favorite fairy tale?"

Chris: "Qrow..."

The scene changes to night time with the group sitting on logs surrounding the campfire while Chris leans on a nearby tree.

Qrow: "Really? No questions?"

Jaune: "Of course we have questions. This is just... a lot to take in."

Chris: "It seems Pyrrha knows about all of this."

Pyrrha: "I do..."

Qrow: "Sure, of course."

Ruby: "So these... Maidens... They're powerful fighters that don't need Dust to use magic."

Harrison: "Yes."

Nora: "And there are four of them?"

Chris: "It will always be four."

Ren: "Which means that, whenever one of them dies, the power transfers to someone- a female- that they cared about?"

Qrow: "Whoever was in their thoughts last. Important distinction. Best option is someone we can trust. Regardless, their souls become combined, in a way."

Jaune: "And that's what you were trying to do to Pyrrha... the night the tower fell. You were trying to turn her into one of them."

Sapphire: "What?"

Chris: "Really?"

Qrow looks at Chris and Sapphire before looking at the rest of the group.

Qrow: "As these two guys are aware of, the previous Fall Maiden, Amber, had been attacked. She was young, inexperienced. And her assailant, who we now know is Cinder, somehow managed to steal some of her power, but not all of it. We were afraid that if we didn't do something, the rest would go to her as well."

Chris: "I see, so that's why Indigo..."

Jaune: (angrily) "So you forced it on Pyrrha."

Pyrrha: "Jaune..."

Qrow: "We didn't force anything. We explained the situation and gave her the choice, and she chose. You were there, you heard her."

Jaune hangs his head low before walking away from the group, ignoring Pyrrha's call.

Ruby: "Those guys, Tyrian, Reek, Victoria. Why were they after me?"

Sapphire: "We all saw your stunt in the Battle of Beacon with those Silver eyes. At first, I thought it was Indigo who used it. I was wrong."
