Oobleck: "Alright, it's now time to begin the randomization process for our next fight!"

Port: ": It looks like our first contender is... Penny Polendina, from Atlas! And her opponent will be... Iroha Scarleton, from Beacon!"

Indigo: "They're a step ahead of us."

Indigo brought out his Scroll.

Indigo: "All of you, up your guard. I need to make a call."

The scene changes with the clanks of turning gears found over the headmaster's office, with Professor Ozpin himself walking back to his desk and pouring himself a drink from his teapot as he watches the Vytal Festival Tournament's roulette system deciding the next match. His Scroll suddenly buzzes.

Ozpin: "Mr. Calavera. How are you holding up?"

Indigo: (Scroll) "Don't "Calavera" me, Professor. Something's about to go down."

Ozpin: "And what is that?"

The scene changes to Indigo inside the Colosseum, holding his Scroll up as he looks around, looking for anyone. As he speaks, Razor, Chris, Onyx, and Natalie are seen walking around the area, looking for suspicious activity while Sapphire observes the upcoming fight.

Indigo: "Participant Emerald along with the Mercury guy are suspicious, we need to find them as soon as possible. Find a way to stop the fight! The Emerald girl is still here and possibly rigged the match up!"

Indigo hangs up as the scene changes to Ozpin slowly placing his Scroll down and looks outside the window in thought.

Ozpin: "A move..."

Down in the arena of Amity Colosseum, Iroha looks at her opponent nervously while Penny politely salutes her opponent.

Penny: "Sal-u-tations, Iroha Scarleton! It's an honor to meet you!"

Iroha's fox ears twitched as she held her dagger in embarrassment, with the weapon turning blue and her face red in embarrassment.

Iroha: "Um... It's an honor...?"

Penny: "This is going to be so much fun!"

The scene changes to Onyx quickly walking around the crowd and accidentally runs into Sebastian, who was looking uncomfortable.

Onyx: "Oh, sorry."

Onyx continues on his way but Sebastian suddenly holds on to Onyx's wrist.

Onyx: "What are you doing? Let go."

Onyx pulls his arm away but Sebastian holds on tighter and starts to shake.

Sebastian: "Sorry... Sorry..."

Onyx: "What...?"

Sebastian: "I... I-I'm a coward..."

Onyx comes closer and drags Sebastian to a more open space.

Onyx: "What are you on about, huh?"

Sebastian: "Eric... Jaron... Rick..."

Onyx: "What about them?"

Sebastian: "I... I-I..."

Onyx: "I... what?!"

Sebastian: "They..."
