The scene opens on the Headmaster's office of Ozpin, who is seated behind his desk across from Pyrrha, as the last rays of twilight come through the clock-decorated windows.

Ozpin: (chuckling) "Well, it's no surprise you fought well in the first rounds but had an unfortunate match-up with the more elite students."

Pyrrha: "Thank you, Professor Ozpin, but I would have never performed that well without my teammates."

Qrow is seen along with Harrison and John, leaning by one of the columns in the office.

Qrow: "Personally, I think it's the other way around."

Pyrrha stood from her chair and faced them in an attempt to be formal.

Pyrrha: "I'm sorry, but I don't believe we've been introduced."

Qrow: "Name's Qrow."

Harrison: "Harrison."

John: "I'm John."

Ozpin: "The three of them are trusted colleagues of mine."

Pyrrha: "Professor, if you don't mind me asking, why have you called me here?"

Indigo: "You're here for a special reason."

Pyrrha turns around again, seeing Indigo entering the office from the elevator.

Pyrrha: "Indigo?"

Qrow: "What's he doing here?"

Ozpin: "He is also a trusted colleague, remember? Such allies shall not be forgotten. Hello, Indigo."

Indigo: "Feeling's mutual. So it's her."

Ozpin: "Indeed."

Ozpin gestures for Pyrrha to a chair.

Ozpin: "Please, take a seat."

When she does so, he puts his fingers up to his lips, leaning back casually.

Ozpin: "What is your favourite fairy tale?"

Pyrrha: (confused) "I'm... sorry?"

Ozpin: "Fairy tales, stories from your childhood. Surely you must remember some of them."

Pyrrha: "Well, there's The Tale of The Two Brothers, The Shallow Sea, The Girl in the Tower, Oh! A recent one a few years ago, The Faunus and The Black Claw..."

Indigo: "The Black Claw, huh? That's a new tale to scare Faunus children."

Ozpin: (chuckles) "Indeed it is."

Ozpin leans forward.

Ozpin: "What about the Story of The Seasons?"

Pyrrha: "Well, of course! A callous old man, who refuses to leave his home, is visited by four traveling sisters. The first understands his reclusive nature and urges him to use his time in solitude to reflect and meditate. The second brings him fruits and flowers, tending to his crops and revitalizing his garden. The third warms the man's heart, convincing him to step outside and embrace the world around him. And the fourth and final sister begs him to look at all that he has, and be thankful. In return for their kindness, the man grants the maidens incredible powers, so that they may continue to help others all over the world. They graciously accept, and promise to share their gifts with the people of Remnant 'til the end of days. Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall; the four maidens. My mother loves that story."
