A bundle of light falls onto Thomas' face. For the first time in weeks he wakes up peacefully. No sweaty bedspread, no heavy head and no vicious nightmares. He is truly excited for today. He sits on the edge of his bed and stretches his whole body. He takes a deep breath through his nose and lets it slowly escape through his mouth. He walks with bare feet out of his tent and joins the breakfast table. No sign of Newt yet so far. 'I have to say Thomas, you spoke my mind yesterday. This place reminds me of so much bad,' Gally looks into the eyes of Thomas, 'especially the bad I caused and all the horrific things I did. I know that I have to live with the things I did and that I probably don't deserve to forget them. But being stuck in this place between the past and the future does no good to anyone. I would like to help build this new home and I think that there are enough people who feel the same way.' 'I agree with Gally,' says Minho, 'I think we can assemble a big enough group of people to start with the foundation.' 'Thanks guys, maybe I can show you the place I had in mind. If we go after breakfast we may even get some work done over here before sundown.' Thomas feels a hand on his shoulder, 'Can I sit over here, I have some thoughts I like to share with you guys', says Brenda. Thomas scoots over so Brenda can take place at the table with them. 'I heard you guys we're planning on going to check out our possible new home. I can go along and make some notes and drawings, so when we come back we can figure out what materials we need to start building.' 'If we are lucky, we might be able to start building at the end of this week', says Thomas enthusiastic. They quickly take a few more bites of their meal and then start executing their plans. Minho is assembling people who are just as ready as them and are eager to help. Brenda and Gally grab some stuff for their trip to the woods. Thomas runs to his tent and puts his shoes on in a hurry. Hopefully they like the place, he can't wait to show them.
