Carved by the sea, the storm tossed
waves. Enlightening, perhaps
a little daunting. Tell me,
what history is hidden
underneath the cobbled stone?
Were soldiers thrown off? Were they
balancing along the edge?
Have tourists and climate caused
mighty temples to erode?
Or is it nothing more than
carved rock to more simple folk?
