The disgusted looks of ancient history;
The truth of life to them, a mystery.
Hushed tones of confused whispering,
The pain of judgement on you, almost blistering.
The harsh, one word that is born from cruelty,
In Scotland, it is also a food delicacy.
Hopeful thoughts of the path of rainbow glee,
The fall with disgrace from a once honoured family tree.
Soulful attempts of the truest reasoning,
They hold the key to your sexual imprisoning.
The heart's choice may seem all but true,
But for those around you, it could be the death of you.
