Redo and Release

Celestia woke up in her old home of Canterlot Castle and looked around in a cold sweat. I can't believe it, it actually worked! She hopped out of bed with a smile on her face and looked at the calendar and then the clock. She wrote a letter as quickly as possible explaining how something very important has suddenly came up  and the royal summit must be rescheduled. It wasn't a lie though, changing your fate is very important. After a while, she invited the Elements of Harmony to come to her instead of her going to them. She explained to them that she needed them to release Discord and she would do the rest. They finally arrived, with Twilight still questioning her sanity. "With all due respect , WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?! ahem... you're majesty." Celestia chuckled.   "I'm fully aware that the last time Discord was here, he created serious havoc." She responded smiling knowing well that she had said that before. "If by "serious havoc" you mean "turning Ponyville into the chaos capital of the world" Rainbow Dash responded sounding cross. Rarity continued, "...and tricking us all into being the opposite of our true selves" Lastly a frantic Pinkie Pie added in "And making yummy delicious chocolate milk rain all over the place without a single dollop of whipped cream to go with it anywhere in sight! Not a single dollop!" Celestia nodded and spoke, "Yes, I understand. But I have use for Discord's magic if it can be reformed to serve good instead of evil. This is why I've brought Discord here, because I believe that I can help him do just that. There is no need to have any worries, I know exactly what to do." There was an unseen sly smile to her face.  I do know exactly what to do, I'm going to do the exact same thing that Fluttershy did in my timeline. "This will never work! This is a disaster! How will you ever control him?! We're doomed!" Spike said with fear. "Oh I have my ways, worry not." "O-Ok if you say so..." Spike gulped.  "When everyone is ready, I have the Elements right here with me." Celestia said calmly.  "Okay, ponies, guess it's time to get started. Let's just hope this releasing spell works." Twilight said.  After saying that all six of them were in the air with a rainbow beam connecting them. And this time, Celestia stayed for the whole thing.

Celestia looked in awe at the sight of it all and her trance was interrupted by sound of cracking stone. Celestia's heart raced and her pupils dilated with excitement. As soon as all the stone had come off, Discord screamed and yawned shortly after. "Oh! Ooh! Ooooh! Well, it's about time somepony got me out of that prison block. What a relief!" Just as he was about to snap his fingers, he opened his eyes and saw her there staring at him. She has never looked so happy in her life and everyone could tell she was excited. Everyone was whispering to each other wondering if something was wrong with her, but they were to afraid to speak up with her looking like a lovesick maniac. There was a long moment of silence until it was broken by the sound of Discord laughing. "Oh the irony! You punish me and than you want me to help you!" His voice suddenly got very serious, "You're so funny." Celestia did not expect this outcome at all and it worried her greatly. Did he also travel back in time? What is this about?  I digress.  " I don't want you to help me, I want to help you. I want to help everyone here be happier. I know you think it's stupid but I honestly believe that you would be happier if you had friends! I always wanted to be your friend! I just couldn't cause you were wreaking havoc..." Celestia said with tears in her eyes. Discord had some water in his eyes too. Until he had an idea which caused him to smile slightly. "You know what Celestia? I might just try this out. What's in it for me?" He said with a smug expression. She gave a smile and said "My eternal friendship." Discord laughed more. "You? Friends with me? Like that's ever going to happen!" Celestia tried to convince him otherwise. "Come on! It won't be such a bad experience! You can stay in one of my towers and do whatever you want! Within reason of course. I promise I won't try to trick you!" She was so obviously desperate. "Fine I will, but you better not lie to me! Let us go!" Discord snapped and they were away.
