- Hey, did you hear ? There's someone challenging Dorm Leader Rosehearts to a duel !
- THE Dorm Leader ?! I can't believe it. It'll probably be over in a flash.
- But this is the first challenge he's ever gotten. Let's go watch~
The news of two freshies daring to defy their tyrannical Dorm Leader for his title immediately spread in all Heartslabyul dorm. All the residents gathered in the roses maze, where the fight had to take place, eager to see the fight even though they didn't believed at all that someone could beat Riddle.
But while this news excited the other residents, eager to see the fool(s) who dared to defy Riddle fight, it shocked and panicked Cater, who had heard about it from Trey. He really feared the worst, not only for Ace and Deuce, but for all the students of the Dorm, including himself and his Vice dorm leader
- Ace-chan and Deuce-chan are fighting for the seat of Dorm Leader and challenging Riddle-kun to a decisive match ?!! Are you serious ?!!
- I tried to stop them though...
- Geez, now they've done it... I hope this won’t turn out for the worst...
- Yeah...
The opponents having placed themselves on the battlefield, Crowley, next to (Y/n) who was holding Grim in her arms and had Mara sitting on her head, announced the rules of the fight
- Now then, I shall be watching over the duel about to take place here in the Heartslabyul Dorm. The challengers are Ace Trappola and Deuce Spade. The one who accepted the challenge is the current Dorm Leader Riddle Rosehearts. Now then, please remove the collars in order to start the duel with no handicaps for both sides.
Riddle nodded before snapping his fingers, making the collars around both Ace and Deuce's neck disappear. The both of them couldn't be more overjoyed : they had finally got ride of that damn collar and got their magic back. But the smug smile on Riddle's face clearly said that he wouldn't let Ace nor Deuce enjoy this moment
- The damn thing's finally off...!
- It will be back on you in a little while, so I'd say you best enjoy it while you can. I almost doubted it when I heard that you had challenged me to a duel. Are you really serious ?
- Of course.
- We will never challenge you as a joke.
- Hmph, never mind. Let's get started quickly.
Cater, probably in a attempt to somehow calm Riddle down so that he wouldn't be too eager to take someone's head after the fight, asked him
- Riddle-kun, what do you want to about afternoon tea ?
- No problem. Afternoon tea always has to be at exactly 4 PM.
- B-But it's already past 3:30...
The moment Cater implied that he would get late on his schedule, Riddle's grey eyes narrowed, clearly annoyed as he glared at the third year
- Do you think I'll be late for anything in my life ? I'm pretty sure this will be over quickly. As you can see, I don't have enough time. Taking you on one at a time will be time-consuming, so come at me, both of you.
The students attending to the fight started cheering their Dorm Leader, not to anger him and also because they didn't believed for one second that Ace and Deuce could beat Riddle, while Trey merely stared at them with a disapproving look
- Fight on ! Dorm Leader ! Put them in their place !
Their cheering that were only caused by their fear toward their Dorm Leader only annoyed the group of first years, though it wasn't enough to make them give up
