Third Pov :

It was a long, exhausting fight.

If (Y/n), Grim, Ace or Deuce had been fighting the faceless monster on their own, they wouldn't have been able to beat it. But together, they did what they couldn't do alone. With Ace and Grim combining their magic to create giant flames tornadoes, Deuce throwing a hundred cauldrons at it, and (Y/n) hitting it with all her strength, the faceless abomination finally knew its end, as it fell on the ground, its body slowly fading away. The four of them breathed heavily, completely exhausted but victorious

- Huff, huff...!!

- We... We did it ?

- W-We won... We actually won !

The three boys celebrated their victory, while (Y/n) stared at them, smiling like a proud mother. Finally, they were getting along

- Hooray !

- We did it !

- Victory high-five !

- Yay !

- You guys are finally getting along well. Guess that adversity really brings people together.

Hearing her say this, they immediately stopped their celebration and looked away, not wanting to admit that what (Y/n) was saying was right (they're too proud to admit it)

- ...Ah. N-No. This is nothing like that !

- Y-Yeah, yeah ! Could you stop saying weird things ?

- W-We won, thanks to my genius ! It's not because we pooled our strength !

But after a moment, Ace scratched the back of his head and admitted

- ... I guess making excuses is pretty lame. I hate to admit it but we won thanks to your plan. And your strength.
 
Deuce nodded and added

- ... True. We got the magic crystal because you gave us level headed instructions and helped us by cornering the monster so that we could cast spells. We can prevent our expulsion this way... I'm so relieved. Thank you, (Y/n). 

Wait. They were really thanking her ? Like. For real ? She isn't dreaming, right ? Ooooooh, she knew those guys weren't only dumbasses. She scratched the back of her head and looked away, a bit embarrassed

- I-I didn't do so much... It's thanks to our teamwork we won. And I'm relieved everyone is alright. So now, I think it's time for...

The girl opened her arms, smiling brightly, making the two students and the monster frown, not understanding why she was doing this 

- Uh...

- What the hell are you doing ?

- Time for a hug ! You guys did a great job, and you even started to get along ! And I need a hug ! We all need one !

The moment they heard the word 'hug', their faces blanked. Wait. A hug ? Together ? That was... kind of awkward. But they didn't really wanted to hurt her feelings either. So they merely sighed and nodded 

- Okay...

- If you're happy with this...

- Ya know, ya really strange sometimes.

The girl giggled before letting the cat raccoon jump on her arm and take suddenly Ace and Deuce in her arms, making them gasp and blush. For the both of them, it was the first time a girl who wasn't a relative were hugging them. Not only that, but (Y/n)'s body very warm, which was very comforting. Actually, they quite liked this hug. And they wouldn't mind more hugs in the future... Though they were too proud to ever tell her that. And for Grim, well... He was living with her and sleeping on her, so he was used to her warmth. Not that he didn't liked it, on the contrary.
