Cater stared at the once beautiful roses garden now devastated and sighed, knowing that it would need a lot of time and effort to bring back the maze to its original state
- Well then, we should probably get started on cleaning up the garden. Our photogenic garden is in ruins... I'm so sad. But (Y/n)-chan's as cute as ever~!
- Could you please stop saying that everytime, Cater-senpai ?
Trey, knowing that Cater was right about the roses maze decided to help him
- I'll help you out.
But Cater shook his head and pointed at Riddle. The boy was barely conscious, still completely exhausted from his overblot phase, and was leaning on (Y/n) to stay up
- Trey-kun, (Y/n)-chan, carry Riddle-kun to the infirmary. He did overblot. He should be looked at by the nurse just to be safe. (Y/n)-chan should be able to carry him easily on her own.
The Headmaster nodded, agreeing with what the orange haired third year said, deciding to accompany them to the infirmary, and Trey thanked both him and (Y/n) for their help
- Diamond-kun is right. I shall escort you there. (L/n)-san, will you be fine carrying Rosehearts-kun on your own ?
-... Alright. Thank you very much.
- No problem. Riddle, put your arm around my neck please, I'm going to carry you.
The red-haired boy obeyed and placed his arm around her shoulders. She put her arm under his legs and lifted him easily, about to follow the green haired student and Crowley to the infirmary. But just before she glanced at Grim, who was starving from using so much magic
- I'm starving from using all that magic...
And then, he spotted something the ground. A black stone, the same kind of stone he had found in the Dwarfs' mine. This surprised both him and Deuce, while Ace, remembering what the cat raccoon did last time they saw a black stone, immediately told him
- Hmm ? This is... This is the same as the black magic crystal we found at the Dwarfs' mine !
- You're right ! Where did it come from ?
- Don't eat this one.
A shill ran through (Y/n)'s spine the moment she laid her eyes on the black stone. The earring spirit's words echoed in her mind, the warning they gave her before coming back to the real world
"No matter what, don't let anyone approach the black stone."
But Grim didn't noticed her terrified face. He didn't forgot about the wonderful taste of the stone from last time, and he was so hungry he could eat anything. He took the dark stone in his paws and opened his mouth
- I'll never forget that flavor ! Don't mind if I help myself !
- GRIM, DON'T !!! MARA STOP HIM !!!
*Piaa piaa !!*
(Y/n) wanted to rush toward the monster to stop him from eating the stone, but she couldn't because she was carrying Riddle. And even if she could, she wouldn't have been able to stop Grim in time, nor did Mara, despite rushing toward the monster to stop him. He had already swallowed the stone, making Ace and Cater sweatdrop
- He already ate it !!
- Eh, Grim-chan that's the type of palette you have ?!
Mara tried to make him spit it out by hitting the back of his head with her head, but with her miniaturized size and her lack of strength, she couldn't make Grim throw out the stone. Grim savored the stone, his eyes shining with sparks
