CHAPTER 11: Face- Off

It's half past twenty o'clock already. Sean already booked a hotel room near Rm 1805 in Wynn Palace Hotel. His was 1802, "It's about time," he said. He waited and waited for someone to enter or come out of room 1805 when finally, a buff man on his early fifties went out of that room; he's wearing a red shirt under a black tux and a pair of sunglasses. "Weird, has he got an eye problem?" he said. He then grabbed his biometric facial recognition gun and run a data against the bulky man. The machine reads the info and it matches an identity of a Mao Yufan. The person was said to have 8 counts of burglary, 5 counts of arson, and 3 counts of forgery. He's said to be part of a former triad group in Hong-Kong which is The Big Circle. Few seconds later, another man went out of the room calling for the bulky man. This time, the second man is short, with big fat belly but he looks younger than the first one. Sean gunned him with the biometric facial recognition again; it matches a person identity of Wu Yiteng. "Gege, boss said please grab him some xiaolongbao." The bulky man nods his head and move towards the elevator. As the short man goes back inside the room, Sean saw a familiar figure. "Bodi?" he whispers. "No, it's impossible! urgh, Bodi-ah why am I seeing you in my mission?" Sean rubs his eyes and lay down on the couch for a while when he suddenly heard a thud outside. He peaks.

Knock knock. The banging of the door this time is a bit louder. There were few men outside, about six of them; he was shocked when he saw the bulky man being held by two of them. "What's happening now?" He asked himself while peaking closely he then grabbed his biometric gun and started to run the identity of the other people, the match shows an identity of Jin Gong, the man has multiple counts of Money laundering, Manslaughter, countless Aggravated assault, Drug possession, Drug trafficking, Human trafficking, Perjury, and more. "Who is this person? How come he can roam around freely without being caught?" Sean asked himself, he's somehow nervous now, he's alone in the first place. The man was said to be a member of Shui Fong's gang lead by the person Shui Fong himself.

Knock knock. The thud is very loud now.

Suddenly the man from across the room went out to call them out.

"Excuse me this is a luxury hotel, can you please keep it low and take your..." The man wasn't done yet when he received a relentless jabbing from one of the men(knock out) The girl with him from inside the room suddenly starts shouting "Eeeekk! Help! Help! Call the cops!" She said. One of the men grabbed her and start slapping her till she lost her consciousness.

The other people from the other rooms start locking their door after witnessing what happened. No one dared to interfere.

"Should I call back-up now?" Sean grabbed his burner phone and dialed his boss' number. He relay all the information he gathered.

"Good job, Sean, now watch closely, don't act unless necessary, you may find yourself dazed with one of the leaders soon. Just trust me Sean. Keep me dated."

Sean was left puzzled by what his boss just told him. "Why would I be dazed with the leader? He told himself as he kept his eyes on those men from outside 1805 when suddenly.

"Break it! The man shouts.

Braggggg! The 1805 door swung open. Sean peaks closely. It seems like no one's inside the room anymore.

Bang! Bang! That Jin Gong shoots Mao Yufan on his head, and chest. The guy has fallen down inside the room. There were blood everywhere.

"They're not here anymore!" shouts another man.

"They're probably still at the exit, find them!" shouts Jin Gong.
