The Ranboo dude that you met at Tubbo's place was really cool. He was shy at first, and he was definitely surprised that you even came up to him to talk. But after a while, the two of you opened up to each other.

The two of you were similar. He had run from his home in the end to explore the world and make new friends since his parents were too overprotective. You had run to explore the world and escape your abusive parents.

The two of you sent letters back and forth when you had to head back with the others to the cabin. So now, as you sat by the window sill waiting for the bird you just sent out to disappear into the blue horizon, you felt a hand on your shoulder.

You look back and you giggle softly, seeing Techno with black marker drawings all over his face. "Did you have any part of this?" Techno grumbles and you shake your head. He sighs and stalks off towards the rooms, heading towards a certain blond's room.

You hear some screams erupt from the room and two voices pleading for mercy and you smile to yourself. You lean your head on the side of the window sill and sit there in content, taking in the warm sun on your face. You were happy.

You spot a tiny group of travelers out past the trees, but you just shrug and look back up to see the bird had already disappeared from your sight. You climb back inside and close the door, unaware of what news the tiny group of travelers would bring to a certain couple.

As the weeks go by, you start to settle more and more into your new home in the Sleepy Cabin (you had learned back at Tubbo's place that the family called themself the Sleepy Bois so you decided to call the cabin the Sleepy Cabin).

You were currently in the middle of washing the dishes with the help from a reluctant Tommy when there's a loud pounding on the door.

Everyone pauses, Techno closing his book with a snap and heading towards the door. Phil turns the furnace off to stop the food from burning and Wilbur stands up from his place on the couch.

Techno opens the door and you immediately duck down. There's a familiar lady and man standing at the doorway. There's a small sound crawling up Tommy's throat when you scare him by dropping down, and you just send him a look to get him to stop.

"Hello?" Techno asks the people at the door.

The woman tries to push past Techno but Techno, spending his days fighting and training, just moves forwards to push the woman off. "I'm sorry but who are you?" He asks. The man huffs, similar to an animal huffing and Tommy giggles softly. "We're Y/N's parents. We know you have them." Techno stiffens and you watch as Phil slowly walks towards the door.

"Sorry Tech, excuse me." Phil pushes by Techno to stand in between him and the couple. "We don't know anyone by the name of Y/N, you must have the wrong house." The lady chuckles and points behind them. There behind them, a few feet away, is a group of cowering travelers.

"They were passing by the area and saw the little shit sitting by your windows. We know they're here." Phil pauses and looks back at Techno hesitantly. Before Techno can do anything, you tap Techno's shoulder. He looks back at you, pauses, before letting you through.

You don't go fully up towards them, you stay behind Phil, but they see you and they glare. "Y/N, stop hanging out with these strangers and come back with us." The lady tries to reach her hands out to take you but Phil slaps her hands away. "Yeah, listen to your mother. Don't you want to live somewhere a bit more," he pauses as he stares at the cottage in disgust. "A bit more bigger and spacious? Like our house."

You shudder at the thought of being forced back into the cold house. "No thank you." You mutter. The man's face turns a bright red and he makes his hands into a fist. "You insolent brat, come here right now." The lady smirks and nods frantically. "Yeah, we're your parents and you have to listen to us."

You laugh.

Both parties, the couple and the SBI family, watch as you throw your head back and laugh. "I'm sorry, did we say something funny?" The lady growls. You nod and your laughter calms down, but your chest occasionally hiccups in silent laughter.

"Yeah, I find it so funny that you really think that you being my parents would make me want to go back." Before the couple can get a few words in, you continue. "I mean, you practically left me with the maids and butlers because you were too busy doing other things to actually care for me." You pause to give the couple time to rebuttal but the two remain quiet.

"I've found a better family in a matter of months and that will never be able to compare with the kind of family you can be for me in the span of years." You hear Tommy whistle lightly and Wilbur runs back to the couch, probably to muffle his laughter.

The couple growls and makes a step to grab you when Phil spreads his wings to block you from the couple. "You clearly aren't welcome here. I suggest you leave before I make you." The couple falter before glaring at the blond man, retreating back with the travelers.

You push Phil's wing down lightly to watch as the group runs away, occasionally slipping on the mud.

As they disappear from view you feel a hug from behind. You turn your head slightly to see Techno hugging you lightly, shocking you as the pink hybrid didn't initiate touch much. You feel wings envelope around you and there's two sets of footsteps thudding towards you to join the hug.

Wilbur and Tommy barrel into the hug and everyone ends up on the floor. All of you are laughing. And as the five of you continue to hug and laugh together, a particular hybrid trying to struggle his way out of the hug, you realize that you're home.
