Harry and Draco One shots

Took me long enough right? Sorry about that, I've been going through a lot and just haven't felt up to sitting down and rereading my one shots. Anyway like in all the others everyone is 18+ and every sexual act is consensual, this one shot does mention non consensual sexual acts but there is a warning before it is mentioned and a note to let you know its over so you can scroll past it if you so choose. The nightmares wouldn't stop. Every night they came and tormented Harry. He would always wake up sweating, tears covering his face. Tonight, was no different. He got up from bed and pulled on his robes. He slowly made his way downstairs to the 8th years common room. He walked in thankful that the fire was still going.

"Couldn't sleep Potter?" He jumped at the question looking to see Malfoy sitting on the couch in front of the fire.

"I could ask you the same thing Malfoy." He responded sitting on the other end of the couch. They had come to a truce at the beginning of the year. They still fought and yelled insults at each other, that was their relationship though. Both found comfort in their fights feeling a since of normalcy they desperately needed.

They sat in silence watching the flames burn.

"Nightmare?" Malfoy asked suddenly making Harry jump.

"Yeah... " Harry mumbled wondering if Malfoy saw him jump or not.

"....do you...maybe...if you want...we could...talk about it?" Malfoy mumbled scratching the back of his head and looking away hoping the Potter wouldn't see him blush.

Harry stayed silent for a few minutes looking at the fire and wondering if he should open up to his old enemy. Malfoy was just about to get up a slink back to his room chastising himself for even asking to talk about Potter's nightmares. Why would he open up to his long time enemy? They only started being civil to each other a few months ago. Draco's rambling thought was cut off suddenly.

"I lost." Harry said still looking at the fire.

"What do you mean?" Draco asked turning to look at the boy who lived.

"....my nightmare....in it I had lost the battle. Voldemort had won...he killed me, and I watched him kill all my friends and family and I could do nothing but watch and I..I." Harry started to hyperventilate, tears threatened to spill from his eyes as he remembered the nightmare. Suddenly he was wrapped in a pair of warm arms. He buried his face into the muscular chest and cried. Minutes goes by before Harry stops crying.

"I'm sorry Harry....I thought talking about it might help you...I didn't mean for you to start crying..."Draco mumbled pulling away from Harry and putting his head in his hands. He fucked things up like he always did.

"No, it wasn't your fault Draco you actually helped a lot...I think crying and being hugged was exactly what I needed...so thank you." Harry said a blush spreading on his face.

The two sat in silence for a few minutes before Harry asked why Draco was down in the common room instead of sleeping.

"Same reason as you....nightmares." Draco whispered.

Harry scooted closer to Draco on the couch and touched his knee.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Harry asked also in a whisper. Neither wanted to break the peace that had settled around them.

"......it was of when you got carried back from the forest...but you weren't alive...you were really dead. I had to walk over to my parents and Voldemort stopped me...he gave me a hug...and told me how proud he was of me....all I could do was stair at your lifeless body...the longer he hugged me the more I felt any hope I had leave my body." Draco whispered shaking.
