ғᴇʙʀᴜᴀʀʏ 14, 2020"Girl, bring your slow ass on," I grabbed her hand, making her walk faster.
"I have heels on, Christopher. I can't go as fast as you. Plus, my stomach hurts," she complained. "Why'd you let me eat so much tonight?"
"When I tried to take some of your food you almost took my arm off with that fork....now you wanna complain?" I asked as she clung to my arm.
"Still," she shrugged. "I feel like a hippo right now."
We just left this nice little restaurant I found online. For some reason, girls go crazy for Valentines Day and they expect top tier presents and plans, so I wanted to go somewhere neither of us had been. It was a seafood restaurant where they cooked the food right in front of us. She seemed to be amused by it, so I'm guessing I did something right.
Right now, we're walking into the surprise I have for her. I had her friends help me set up a hotel room for the two of us and fill it with a bunch of her favorite things, including the gifts I got her. All she knows is that I have a surprise for her, but she doesn't know what it is yet.
We could've spent Valentines Day in the dorm, but I wanted some different scenery. I feel like all we ever do is sit around the dorm and only leave when we have to. I needed today to be more special for my baby.
I packed us both a little overnight bag, since the plan is for us to stay in the hotel for the weekend. Climbing onto the elevator, I clicked the button to take us to our floor as she looked around the tiny space inside the elevator. It was gold and shiny, and made me feel like I was inside an instrument or something.
I stared down at her while she was zoned out. Her skin looked so clear and fresh. I knew she had makeup on because I watched her put it on earlier, but I could barely tell. She looked the same with and without it. She also took her weave out a couple days ago. She's been rocking her natural hair and it looks good. Fine as hell.
"Stop staring, perv," she smirked, catching her eyes with mine.
"My fault," I chuckled. "You look good."
"Thank you," she smiled up at me. "You don't look too bad yourself."
My outfit was pretty basic today. It was a black and white Tommy Hilfiger set. I just got it and had never worn it before. It was just sitting in my room, untouched so I figured I'd wear it for the first time tonight. I got a fresh cut this morning and put both my nose rings in since she always says how much she loves them.
The elevator came to a stop on our floor and I led us out, holding onto her hand and holding her bag in the other.
"When did you have time to book a hotel?" She asked, as we walked down the long hall towards the room.
"I did a couple days ago. I ain't want you to find out."
"Well, I'm definitely surprised," she said.
