sᴇᴘᴛᴇᴍʙᴇʀ 8, 2019Taking long walks on the beach is underrated. I haven't done it in so long and now I have not clue why. California is just so beautiful and I can experience it fully now that I live here. The beaches in New York just aren't the same.
I held my polaroid camera up to the sky, capturing a picture of the sun that was starting to go down. It was so pretty. I waited for it to come out before shaking it around a little, so that I could see my masterpiece. When it came through, I smiled, tucking it in my back pocket, so that I'd remember to put it with the rest of my pictures.
When I held the camera back up, someone's face was in the way, blocking the view.
"Take my picture," Chris smiled.
"Alright, say cheese," I said.
"I am not saying that dumb shit."
"Then I'm not taking your picture," I shrugged.
"Cheeeeeeese!" He yelled, making me laugh.
"Hold still....I'm trying to picture you with a personality," I smirked.
"You must've thought that was funny."
"I know it was. Now pose so I can take your picture," I said.
He stuck up his middle finger, putting his other hand in his pants in front of his junk. He bit his lip and tilted his head a little, waiting for me to take the picture. I shook my head, hearing it snap and seeing the flash go off.
"Lemme see," he walked over to me.
"You gotta shake it, so it shows up," I explained. He shook it around for a bit before staring down at it.
"Damn. I'm fine," he smiled.
"Love that confidence," I chuckled.
"I know," he said, still looking at the picture.
I shook my head and walked back over to where Quincy sat on the bench by himself. I don't know why he was sitting alone when he knew almost everyone here.
He invited me to a little party his friends were throwing on the beach tonight. I said no at first, just wanting to be in my room, but somehow he convinced me with just his smile. I gave in and invited both China and Chris. China was busy, so she couldn't come. To my surprise, Chris knew a few people here, which is good so that he wouldn't be following me around.
I mean, I normally wouldn't mind, but who knows how Quincy would've taken it. We aren't together or anything, but it would probably feel weird seeing another man following me around especially the way Chris likes to flirt. He doesn't even care who we're around.
The other day when Trey was in our dorm and we watched that movie, he was all over me as if he wasn't even there. The weirdest part was that I enjoyed it. I didn't try to stop him until I felt like it was too much.
