"That's not how you play," Chris's friend, Trey tried to tell me.

"How is this not how you play?" I asked.

"We're stacking. So when I gave you two draw fours, you gotta pick up eight," he explained and I rolled my eyes.

"That's stupid," I mumbled.

"Can't take the heat get out the kitchen," he laughed.

I flipped him off before picking up eight fucking cards. Felt like I had a wad of cash in my hands.

We were in my dorm, playing a bunch of board games that everyone brought themselves. I had the idea of inviting our friends to play since it was kinda gloomy outside and none of us had a class scheduled today. I invited China and Chris invited Trey.

I even invited Quincy, but he declined my offer, claiming it would be weird knowing Chris doesn't like him. I can see why he got that impression on our date, but I tried reassuring him that that's just Chris's personality. He still didn't change his mind, so he's the only one not here.

"You see why I don't play games with this fool?" Chris said.

"Y'all just some crybabies. We played like this in Jersey," China said.

"Well that rule is stupid. Look at all these cards in my hand," I sighed.

"You'll live....it's your turn Chris," Trey said.

"I'm sorry I gotta do this to you, but draw another four," Chris smirked, throwing his card down.

I almost had a panic attack and threw all my cards down, but I reframed from that type of behavior. I stared at him for a couple seconds with the look of death before drawing another four cards.

"I hate you all," I mumbled.

"What's the color nigga," Trey said.

"Blue," Chris responded.

"Bet. Reverse," Trey threw his card down, so now it was my turn.

I looked at Chris with a smirk and he shook his head, knowing exactly what I was about to do. I looked through my cards, finding a bunch of cards I could use against him.

"Okay, so draw four, draw four again, draw four again, and theeeen....draw another four. Oh and the color is yellow," I smiled.

"Remember that one time I said I thought you were cool? I lied," he said, before drawing sixteen cards.

"Damn. Why you have to do him like that? The whole deck almost gone," Trey said and I shrugged.
