Spencer's POV
LOVE DOCTOR

I don't mind doing the laundry. In fact, I would do anything Liv wants me to do, just to make up for the way I acted when I saw Kia earlier.

While it was just a caught-off-guard-reaction, I still understand how it could've looked bad. Especially to my wife.
_________

"How does she always find the money when she does laundry and I find gum wrappers and lint?" I ask out loud, knowing only I can hear.

I dig in the pockets of Liv's pants and find a business card.

"Trevanté Rhodes. Love Doctor Extraordinaire." I read lowly before thinking to myself.

Why does my wife need the information for a Love Doctor.

Hell, I don't even know what a Love Doctor is!

"Olivia!" I scream.

She still looks confused.

"Olivia, what hell is this?" I ask.

She squints at the card before I push it closer to her face.

"What do you need with a Love Doctor?" I ask seriously.

"Wait! Wait! He's a Love Doctor?" She ask with a tiny smirk on her face. "The guy from the grocery store, right?"

She grabs the card and reads it before bursting into laughter.

"Liv, this ain't funny!" I say and she laughs harder.

"Spencer, this is the random guy who helped me carry bags from the grocery store the other day. Trevanté." She says and I'm still unsure of what's going on, but she finds it hilarious. "He gave me his card because his sister works at XM radio. He thinks she can help me with my podcast."

I scratch my head as if it will jog my memory.

"So, you're not out here looking for love behind my back?" I joke.

She giggles.

"You really think this is funny, huh!" I can't help but to smirk while she tries to stop laughing.

"Okay, I'm trying to stop, Spencer. I really had no clue what that man did for a living when he helped me. And truthfully, I don't even know what a Love Doctor is, Spence!" She says while still trying to hold in her laughter.

"I thought that stuff was only in movies!" I say before sitting down on my side of the bed.

"Awww! My baby gets so jealous!" She says in a pouty voice as she massages my shoulders and kisses the back of my neck.

I laugh a little at her voice. "Liv, you would've flipped if you found that in my pocket."

"If I found that in your pocket, I would've used it as toilet paper?" She says before laying down and I laugh.

"Is he as cool as Will Smith in that Hitch movie or creepier?" I reply and she laughs.

"Definitely creepier!" She giggles.

I lay back and laugh while consciously placing my fingers underneath my head to think.

Liv lays her hand on my chest before laying her head down on top of me.

I snap my fingers as I gather my thoughts. "So that's what your mom meant by the whole carrying groceries thing?"

I shake my head thinking back to our disaster dinner.

"Yup! She saw the Love Doctor helping me to the door and she labeled me worthless from that point on." Liv explains sarcastically and I chuckle. "And yet, I fly out this weekend to visit her for her birthday."

"What? So you two are back on good terms?" I ask.

"Absolutely not, but Jordan reminded me that my mom's always tried for me, even when I was at my lowest. The least I can do is try for her." She says before taking a deep breath.

"Well, that's very mature of you!" I say before kissing her forehead. "But you have to hurry back!"

"Aww! My baby is going to miss me!" She says in her patented baby voice.

I can't help but to laugh. "Yes! Of course! But I do think you visiting your mom is a great thing!"

"What if it doesn't go how I hope it goes?"

"You mean with Ms. Laura?" I ask.

"Yes, we said some harsh words to one another. I don't know how we can come back from that!" She admits.

"Liv, I've known you for a while now. And one thing you know how to do is admit when you're wrong. So, admit the role you played in the argument and mend things with your mom." I suggest."

"See? That's why I married you!" She says proudly before reaching to kiss my lips. "You always give the best advice."

"Sometimes!" I say humbly before we both go silent.

She sighs and I can tell she's thinking about something.

"I thought this was supposed to get easier?" She questions, referring to everything happening in our lives right now.

"Me too."

"You want to know something though?" Liv ask excitedly. "I wouldn't want to go through this with anyone other than you."

"Not even the Love Doctor?" I joke and she slaps my chest gently.

"Especially not the Love Doctor!" She promises me before kissing my cheek.

"I really can't believe my wife is friends with a Love Doctor!" I say before laughing again.

She pinches my nipple playfully and I squeal in laughter.

"Leave me alone!" Liv demands in the cutest voice known to man.

"Say that again!" I tell her, but we're interrupted by the vibration of my cell phone.

"I don't even know that number." I say before ignoring it.

Minutes later, Liv gets the same call. "It must be important."

She answers on speaker phone. "Sis! I need you to come get me. Tell Spencer, it's not my fault. I didn't know the girl was married."

"Wait, where are you?" Liv ask Jordan, already knowing the answer.

"The police station. But it's not my fault." He answers in a panic.

"Why the hell are you there?" Spencer ask and Liv shakes her head in disappointment.

"I really don't know how we're even twins at this point." She says before we both climb out of bed.

"I'll tell you all about it once you come get me. I promise." He tells us. "I'm at the 23rd precinct on 23rd Street."

He hangs up and Liv looks disappointed.

"Are you kidding me? Why is he so immature?" She ask.

I think about all of the events that happened today. First Kia. Then the Love Doctor. Now Jordan.

At this point, the only thing that can save me from this madness is football. And I can't wait to officially hit that field.
