Disclaimer... I do not own Percy Jackson or Harry Potter. They belong to Rick Riordan and J.K. Rowling. I simply had the audacity to make them brothers. On with the story!

An important member of Vernon's company was here with his wife for dinner. So the Dursley's were now in their best suits and dress and petunia had prepared lavish meal and cake for a desert. And then they had sent the boys upstairs to make themselves scarce. They were to keep themselves quiet and not cause ruckus up there so as to alert the guests that someone else stays in the house besides the three Dursley's.

Percy had a gut feeling that this night would be disastrous. Harry was not thrilled to hear of this development.

The dinner was underway and the brothers engaged themselves in activities. Percy's dyslexia got the best of him and so he opted to pet Midnight, who promptly melted in his touch, whereas Harry, who was fine with English, read the newspaper from two days ago. It was in that moment of peace and quiet when they met Dobby.

There were a few things the brother picked up during the first part of their confusing conversation.

1. Dobby refers to himself in third person.

"Dobby has heard a lot about Harry Potter sir." Dobby said as he looked at Harry, not noticing Percy for the time being. Percy shook his head in confusion as he made to stand beside him.

"Who is Dobby?" Percy asked.

"Dobby is Dobby." Dobby answered, a little confused about Percy's attendance in the room.

"Yeah, but who is Dobby?" Percy asked.

"Dobby...is Dobby?" Dobby looked at Harry with his tennis ball sized eyes.

"What?..." Percy trailed off and looked at Harry too. Harry looked between Dobby and Percy before realization struck him.

"You are Dobby." Harry then turned to Percy, "He is Dobby."

"I is Dobby." Dobby agreed with Harry.

"Then why...?" Percy gave up. Dobby promptly ignored the mysterious person and instead turned to Harry.

"Harry Potter must not go to Hogwarts this year." Dobby nodded to himself.

"Why?" Harry asked, clearly seeing Percy.exe had stopped working and a big ERROR#404 flashing in his eyes.

"Hogwarts is not safe to go to." Dobby said.

"Why? Is it another troll?" Percy asked.

"Something much, much worse." Dobby said.

"And that is..." Harry prompted his to continue.

"Dobby cannot say. Dobby has said more than he should have." Dobby said and then ran to pick up the lamp.

2. Dobby punishes himself a lot.

He picked up the lamp and smashed it on his head. Percy covered his mouth and told him to keep it down while Harry rushed to him and parried away the remaining parts from him. So the house elf went to the cupboard and smashed his fingers with the door. Percy tackled Dobby to the ground and pressed the hands to the floor. Dobby fidgeted to get out of the grip of the boy but to no avail.

"Calm down Dobby!" Harry said as he plucked out Percy's Seawood wand and cast a Muffiliato. The last thing they needed was uncle Vernon coming up and starving them for three days.

"Get off me stranger!" Dobby shrieked.

"My name is Percy Jackson for you kind information and you are the one trespassing in our room. So if anything, you are the stranger." Percy reasoned. Harry knelt beside his brother while Midnight hissed at Dobby to be quiet.

"Now, tell me the details Dobby." Harry calmly said, playing the good cop for the moment. If there was any danger in Hogwarts, he should know.

"I can't tell you that!" Dobby exclaimed, as if the mere thought of telling was a horrendous crime.

"Why? My friends are going to Hogwarts and so am I. You say there is some danger and so I should have a fair idea to warn them of it." Harry explained.

"The same friends who have not written to Harry Potter for the whole summer? Are they the friends Harry Potter is talking about?" Dobby asked, a hint of challenging voice in his words.

3. Dobby said 'Harry Potter' a lot.

4. Dobby can be manipulative.

Percy's instincts went up. He understood Dobby was making Harry furious at his friends and in return, ensure Harry would not go to Hogwarts. Midnight seemed to have reached to the same conclusion, bless the smart cat, as he pulled on Dobby's ears, making the elf yelp.

"Midnight, no." Percy shook his head. Midnight glared at him in response, not happy she was stopped. Percy then glanced at Harry and saw him deteriorating and having doubts forming in his mind.

"How do you know he is not getting any letters?" Percy asked.

"Because Dobby has them." Dobby said but then slapped his mouth shut. Percy smirked in victory and Harry narrowed his eyes.

"Give them." Harry said and Dobby reluctantly pulled out a stack of letters from...somewhere.

Dobby had made it his life mission to keep Harry Potter from Hogwarts. So he had already decided to go to extremes. But this insolent Percy Jackson and his cat was keeping him from his mission. As a last moment decision, he raised his hand. Midnight hissed, somehow guessing what was coming. But Dobby snapped his fingers. Instantly, both Percy and Midnight slumped to the floor as if unconscious.

5. Dobby can do wandless magic.

6. Dobby has made Percy very angry and should not come before him or Midnight again.

"What did you do to them?" Harry stared at them in horror.

"Dobby put them to sleep. Dobby is sorry but Harry Potter has to be saved. He is a hero figure for us elves." And with that, Dobby bounded for downstairs, with Harry hot on his tails.

The next 10 minutes was a nightmare. The guests left the house, cake still in their hair and dress. Vernon blew his lid off. He got more angry when he saw that Percy was not even waking up. so he took their magic items and locked them in the broom cupboard downstairs. Then he locked up the brothers and told them in a cheeky voice that they can forget going to Hogwarts this year. He also put bars on the window just because he could, grinning because now they can't escape.

Oh how wrong he was.

This is the second chapter people. I know I made Dobby the sweetheart seem like a bad elf but anyone would react like this if they have a stranger in their house, making them believe something but giving no conclusive proof. I know I am a bad person but I swear this is the only time I will mention him in the bad light. Do tell your thoughts and please no hate comments about Dobby. Till then.

Raven.
