Disclaimer... I do not own Percy Jackson or Harry Potter. They belong to Rick Riordan and J.K. Rowling. I simply had the audacity to make them brothers. On with the Story!
Unfortunately, the store did not have Greek books. So he grudgingly took out his glasses that he had bought in America and gave them to the shopkeeper to help him charm them.
He grinned to himself. Now he could buy the extra Potions book he had his eyes on. A Quidditch book for Harry, and advanced charms book for Hermione, a guide book of the Irish team for Ron and a Tricks up the Sleeves book for Ginny.
"Since when do you wear glasses?" a voice brought him out of his musings. He turned to his side and found Draco.
"Since dyslexia made my life a living hell. I found out I can read Greek better, so I charmed these glasses." Percy easily replied.
"And now you are happy that you can read every Potions book there is to offer in the world?" Draco asked as he eyed the stacks of books on the counter.
"Bingo." He laid 12 galleons on the counter, 2 extra for the help in the charming.
"You look like Potter." Draco observed with a mild distate.
"Wouldn't want people mistaking me for him, now would I?" Percy laughed and pulled the glasses away from his face and stuffed them in his pockets.
He saw Draco crack a smile but then freeze when he looked over Percy's shoulder.
"Your father's here?" Percy softly asked. Draco gave a stiff nod.
"I'm sorry if it offends you but I'm not a big fan of him." Percy said.
"Not offended. I don't like him either. My mom's far much better." Draco whispered, looking from side to side fearing someone might hear him. Percy gave him a genuine smile.
"It was nice meeting you Draco. I'll see you in school. You'll hear of me in potions." Percy patted his stack.
Draco gave a smirk and shook his hand. Percy stuffed the books in his charmed satchel, musing how much his life was filled with magic.
Percy came down just in time to hear Lockhart was going to be the new DADA teacher in Hogwarts and that he is giving his autographed books to Harry.
"He's a git." Ron stated.
"I know!" Percy scrunched up his nose, watching Harry squirm in Lockhart's hold as the camera's flashed wildly.
"Harry's so lucky!" Hermione squealed which made the boys look at her in horror.
Instantly her face flushed and she tried to change the topic by asking, "Where are your books?"
"Bag." Percy said, still staring at her. He was half relieved that Hermione was not there when he made a fool of her supposed crush.
That is one short chapter. There are just so many DAM projects that I have only been given one hour daily to be here. So I have been going faster than Usain Bolt to finish up the typing. I hope I have been making up for the short chapters by making them interesting.
Comment your feelings and enjoy the anonymity Wattpad grants. (Although that may be a problem if your real-life friends know who you are). Till then.
