"She's so dreamy...her hair, her personality..everything about her is so breathtaking."Hayden daydreams away while staring at his 'astonishing' crush.

Taylor, the same age as Hayden, the most beautiful and smart student in the whole cohort. Hayden had liked her for 3 years straight but never had the confidence to ask her out.

(April 1st):

Hayden was gazing at Taylor again. Hayden was assured he could ask her out that day, even if Taylor had rejected him, he could have 'pranked' her. (April fools day).

During break time, Taylor trudged her way to Haydens' assigned lunch table.

"Wait, why is Taylor coming over here? Maybe I can use this chance to ask her out!" Hayden wanted to take that advantageous moment to substantiate that he could ask Taylor out to his friends.

"Hey, Hayden!" Taylor screamed.

Hayden blushed at the sound of Taylor mentioning his name.

"Hey, what's up Taylor?"

"I've been wanting to tell you something for a long time now..." Taylor mumbled but luckily enough for Hayden to hear.

"What is it?"

Haydens' heart started beating heavily, what was Taylor about to say?

"I like you."

"I've liked you ever since I met you. I hope you feel the same way." Taylor said sheepishly.

Haydens'  eyes widened, he could not believe what Taylor had just said. Forgotten about everything around him, he replied.

"I like you too Taylor!

Taylor started giggling softly. Hayden felt exhilarated, his crush had finally liked him for the first time, but the reason why Taylor was giggling was not what Hayden was thinking.

Taylor looked back at her group of friends, putting up a thumbs up.

They all started laughing uncontrollably.

One of her friends, Ava, ran towards Haydens' table.

"Don't be so mean Taylor, tell him the truth!" Ava snickered.

Taylor laughed like mad.

"Sorry Hayden, April fools!!"

"Haha, you wish, as if anybody would like you. Especially with that titan laugh." Taylor burst out with laughter, letting almost everybody hear in the cafeteria.

Hayden blushed in embarrassment. He started tearing up, eyes filled with water that was almost flowing out.

He regretted liking Taylor and the idea of confessing to her.

Hayden soon became the laughing stock of Taylor and her group of friends, making him feel terrible the rest of his years in school.
