Saturday, the best day of the weekends to relax and play games.
Hayden often plays games in the afternoon and evening. But now he was feeling hungry and nobody was home to buy food for him. So he had no choice to pause his game and go downstairs to buy food.
He paused his game and ran downstairs.
He ran towards the famous Chicken Rice Store, luckily the queue was short.
Hayden quickly ordered as his friend was pestering him to carry him in the game.
"Hey young man, here is your Chicken rice, it will be $5." The uncle at the store said.
Hayden searched through his hoodie pocket to look for his wallet. He searched through all the pockets, only to find out he did not bring his wallet. He wanted to go back home and take his wallet but he lives deep inside which is far away from the store.
"Sorry uncle, I had forgotten my wallet at home," Hayden said embarrassedly.
Uncle looked furious and kicked Hayden out of his store.
Now Hayden did not have any food and he was lazy to walk back and forth. He decided to go back home and starve the rest of the day until dinner.
On his way back, he saw a 5 dollar note flying about on the floor. He picked it up and wanted to run back to the store and get his food but the owner of the note saw Hayden stealing it and walked fiercely towards him.
"Where are you going with my money?!"
A middle-aged woman appeared in front of Hayden, scolding him.
Many people around them were staring and mumbling to themselves.
Hayden felt embarrassed and guilty, he gave back the cash to the woman and ran back home. He checked his phone and went on Facebook, realizing people have posted about him stealing and getting scolded.
He felt humiliated. Haydens' parents saw most of the Facebook posts and immediately rush back home.
"How can you be so irresponsible?! I thought we have taught you better than this Hayden Pang." Mother rebuked him.
"Stealing is not the way to succeed, son. I shall never see this situation happening again or you will be severely punished." Father reprimanded.
Hayden regretted everything. He was now left in the dust and was starving.
