Y/n's pov:
As I was carried away from Pufferfish, I examined the cave. It was surprisingly clean and dry, especially for a creature that seemed to prefer things dark and gloomy. Maybe it was the other person, Shoji, that kept the darker ones in check.
My thoughts were solidified as we stepped into the work room. It was exactly like I would have expected Tokoyami to decorate like. Dark, gloomy, and much more gothic than the rest of the place.
Shoji sighed. "You know Fumi, I really think you should brighten this place up just a bit. I love your style but not many of your patients are dark creatures."
A scoff sounded behind us and the shadow bird who had caught me was there again.
"It just fine," he sniffed primly. " In fact, if you ask me it's still to bright."
"Yes but that's because you are made of pure shadow and magic," Shoji's voice smiled, and I saw a twitch under the mask.
"Mezo my prince," (I resisted the urge to coo) "put the lady in the pool please. I shall treat her there." Tokoyami pointedly ignored the conversation as he moved about the room, pulling out supplies and a few things I didn't recognize.
I glanced around as I was set in a deliciously cool pond, the water soothing the dryness I hadn't realized was beginning to creep up my tail. Pufferfish was standing by the door, looking grumpy.
Well at least that's normal.
"Now, do tell me where these cuts are from and how you have tended to them thus far," my attention was pulled back to Tokoyami as he walked toward me with a mortar and pestle grinding steadily.
"I got kidnapped," a grim smile graced my face and I turned to stare resolutely at the wall. "Stupid handy man cut me with glass when I tried to escape and then threw me in a tank. Bitch even tried to tell me I was a fucking it not a person."
An ominous growl that did not match the bird like shadow emitted from the corner I had last seen him/them in. I risked a glance and saw a flash of burning red eyes rather than the yellow they had been before.
"Forgive my language but that asshole can go die in a hole," Shoji grimaced, mask pulling downward in a way I'd associate with a muzzle rather than a mer style face.
I shrugged and gave him a grin. "I'd welcome that but probably best if we turn back to the problem at hand. Doc, what is your verdict?"
"Stitches, and about a week of minimal movement to avoid stretching them out any more," said Tokoyami over his shoulder, having turned to one of the alcoves lining the walls. " However I do have one more question for you. What on earth did you put on that cut? I've never seen anything of the like?"
Pufferfish burst into laughter, doubling over with his arms clamped over his stomach. I glared at him and flipped him off before turning back to a perplexed Tokoyami with a grimace.
"That would be the death juice, hydrogen-duwatsit."
"It's hydrogen peroxide dumbass," Bakugou said, finally straightening up from his laughter. "And it's not that bad, you're just a little bitch. Besides aren't you forgetting something?"
"Oh shit, yeah!" I exclaimed sitting up.
