Chapter - 4

Norah's P.O.V

Once I became fresh, I played with Tris for some time and texted Darren about college and of course our unexpected friend, Isla. As I'm tired as hell I go for a peaceful sleep.

I feel my head a little bit heavy as i opened my eyes. My lips waved a smile by the sight of Tris, who was now sleeping like a caterpillar.

I kissed his cheek without waking him up, because that will make more trouble. I tiptoed to the bathroom.

I thought of putting jeans and a top of lettuce-edge round neck with half sleeve. I put my hair in a ponytail, put some eyeliner and lip gloss, those are my usual makeover.

I head to the kitchen and saw some pancakes made by mama, I loved it. While stuffing it into the mouth, mama came with a box full of toys.

For your new information my mama is doing a daycare so that she can manage Tris along with her.

"These stuffs are the new one I bought" she said

"There are a lot" I added.

"NORAH" Eva screamed.

"Okay mama, see you" I said while running outside.

Our dreadful journey to the college was horrible in the bus, as it take longer. I feel like pushing the bus so it can move a bit more faster.

At the college Isla was waiting for us like she was waiting for a candy that was given once in a year.

She ran and hugged us, as I thought once that I became a lettuce in the burger. While going to the class we found a crowd near the college notice board.

"And what was that?" I asked with a frown.

"It's the dance competition" Isla said.

"Competition? " Eva added.

"Yes, our college is conducting a dance competition after one month, and the audition for the group is on next week and if the college gain trophy like that anything.... Each participants are rewarded by cash price and those blah blah blah.... "

"Hey you know Isla, Norah is a well dancer, I think she can go for it" Eva cut off.

"Wow, that sounds great. " Isla said eagerly.

"No no. I am not gonna participant now, anyways we'll think about it when it comes later" I surrender

"That's cool" Isla winked.

After our class of literature we ended up in the canteen. While digging sandwich and cola Eva break the silence, "Hey , what's Tris doing, I don't see him today and I really miss him "

As I am about to answer Isla cracked,

"Hey, hey, you guys are having boyfriend? Gosh ! how could I forget such an important question? Is tris Eva's boyfriend or Norah's? answer me, I am so eagered" Isla's eye seemed to be a bit big of her excitement as she asked it.

We started laughing.

"Hey dumbo, Tris is Norah's little brother, he only attained 2 years, otherwise I'll date him for sure" Eva said between her laughter.

"Wwhoooo.... So u have little brother, is he shorted than my hand...? I want to see him so badly " Esla blurred with lots of innocence.

"One day we can go for a sleepover" Eva split off. "Oh yes, it'll be fun....and what about your parents?" Isla questioned

"My father died when I was 16 and my mom is taking a daycare so she can manage Tris, his name is actually Tristan, we all call him Tris and that's it. My small family"

"And a strong one..." Isla added.

"And what about you, your parents siblings like that....?? " she turned to Eva.

She remained quite. I know it was difficult for her to answer, she ran from these questions whenever others go for it.

I feel a bit heavy about that. While I was going to direct the question to another part,
I heard Eva,
"My parents...." she faked a smile, "Nothing about them, I don't know whether they are alive or dead or whatever.... And about my family, I can say that, I have a brother, who works in London and a sister who was struggling with sixth grade" after finishing she closed her eyes.

Maybe her past struggling and pain reflected in her. "Hey with your closed eyes you look beautiful, no doubt about that but I'll still rate a monkey ahead of you, my Sleeping Beauty," I added for making her diverted.

She just smiled but it was Isla who was laughing so hardly that doesn't even suit for what I said.

Then I turned to Isla ,"And what about you..? "

"Hmm... My parents are in new york itself, in Oyster Bay, I think you guys have heard about it. And I am the only little princess to them" she said with a giggle.

After our eatings and other stuff we headed to class. We all get the notice for the dance competition from the class. It's like today flow like a water as I feel classes ended up soon.

Eva and I took a off from the work today, so that's why we are on the way to home. As I reached there I can see few people gathered in front on my house.

I don't know what's happening but I could hear some of the loud nagging and my heart beat is increasing like hell.

The people there narrowed their eyes to me as I feel so insecure.

I don't know what's going inside there, is my mama safe? I could also hear some sort of weepings.

While I rushed inside I could see some stuff on the floor which was broken. My heart flipped at the sight. I can't let another pathetic situation hit my family. My mama can't even endure it.

As I opened the ajar door fully I could see mom with teary eyes embracing Tris and trying hard not to make her weeps louder...
